Just... wow. I can't still believe OBJ is going to Cleveland.

The vision I had late in the year is happening:

No more "Factory of Sadness" monicker, a new Evil Empire is born. The Browns now rule the AFC North and won't look back for at least a decade. Mayfield will make Heinz Field his second home and Cleveland is going to own Pitt like in the 50's and 60's. At least one SB win should be expected. The Steelers will join the AAF by 2023 in shame after suffering continuous blowout losses to Lord Baker.

I exaggerated a lot, but I do believe the Browns will wake up feeling very, VERY dangerous all season long. They'll eat alive anyone who underestimates them.

Only if Haskins falls to 6. I don't think they will trade up and if he's gone, they will take a pass rusher and roll out Eli for the year.
If I am the Jets, I seriously consider trading the 3rd pick if the Giants offer both first round picks.

I can guarantee that the Giants won't trade up. Also, if the Cards take Murray at 1, the Jets get either Bosa or Allen to fall into their laps at 3.

Based on Gettleman's track record, they would accidentally throw the pick into a woodchipper and/or draft a CB.

Earlier this morning, it was reported that Earl Thomas has signed with SecretAgentZero's Baltimore Ravens. The deal is to be a four-year deal worth about $55M USD.

[UPDATE/OMISSION] It was recently reported the Ravens will also sign RB Mark Ingram II in addition to S Earl Thomas.

I still can't get over the fact that the Giants could have Darnold and OBJ right now but instead have Eli and Saquon. Let that sink in.

Talk about retiring on top... Haloti Ngata announced his retirement atop Mount Kilimanjaro. He is a five-time Pro Bowl selection. He's played for Baltimore, Detroit, and Philadelphia in his career.

Elsewhere, the Cincinnati Bengals let go of LB Vontaze Burfict. He played all seven of his seasons with the Bengals. I wonder what team will pick him up.

Also, remember a guy named Ryan Fitzpatrick? Well... Fitzy is a fish- signing with the Miami Dolphins. So he'll have to deal with in division Buffalo Bills, the New York Jets, and... some team called the New England Patriots.

There's the latest roundup of NFL chatter. You're welcome.

I read on Twitter that ex-Bengal Vontaze Burfict has joined the Oakland Raiders. So if you're keeping score- Antonio Brown and Vontaze Burfict on the Raiders. Should be a fun 2019 season for the black and silver!

First went Pacman (who already managed to get arrested last week) and now Burfict. They're finally trying to clean back up after years of distractions and dumb play.

It's official- TE Rob Gronkowski officially announced his retirement. I wish Gronk all the best in his retirement. He had had nine years of service in the National Football League in his career. He was surely a solid contributor to the New England Patriots.

Next stop, WWE?

I honestly don't want to build any hope or hype after what happened last year... I really don't want to...

But I'm starting to believe 8-8 is possible.

The Kansas City Chiefs picked up CB Keith Reaser. What's so special about him? He's the first player picked up by an NFL team from the recently-folded Alliance of American Football (AAF). He played for the Chiefs before in 2017-2018.

I don't think I've ever been less excited for a football season/NFL draft. This is mostly due to the sorry state of the team I have supported since birth, but the players and the league have just really put me off lately.

Time to be fashion critics. The New York Jets' new uniforms: yay or nay? Check out their new uniforms here: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap30...w-york-jets-unveil-new-uniforms-green-helmets

They look alright. The new uniforms are a great improvement over the old ones, which were incredible dull.
They're inoffensive, and yet I prefer the old one. Dull and overused, yes, but these are generic as hell. I think I remember something like this in an old Madden game. Seattle and Tampa, while a bit extreme, have character, these just seem bland and kinda seems like they want to separate the team from the last 20 years of ineptitude and...now I get it. Still should have went further.

I don't think I've ever been more excited for a football season and draft. So much potential for a strong season. I'm saying playoffs.

It must just be my lack of faith in Gettleman & Co. They are now talking about extending Eli for 2 more years...

It seems like the Eagles, Skins and Cowgirls all paid off some Pats mafia guy to come in and ruin the team.

Have you heard that the Los Angeles Chargers will go back to their Powder Blue colors? To me- YES. I keep saying the Rams should go back to those color-popping blue and gold colors, but I'm okay with the Bolts going old school for their uniforms.

This week is the NFL Draft. The 2019 NFL Draft begins this Thursday. We'll have to wonder what teams will pick up whatever players and address certain needs. I think my Houston Texans generally need a few more targets for Deshaun Watson and maybe some extra O-line help. I think they may also need to try to get some better linebackers and secondary players. The only aspect of the Texans I am most concerned about this upcoming season is their defense.

Before I posted this, I read a Yahoo! Sports article saying that they intend to sign JaDeveon Clowney to a long-term deal, and I would be VERY cool with that.

Chris Johnson retired as a Titan yesterday. I find it kinda neat how teams will do a one day contract for that.

Draft starts tonight. Expecting a billon people in Nashville over the next few days, think I’ll stay far away. (Estimated 300,000 people over 4 days)

Replace Eli Manning - Check.

Replace Damon 'Snacks' Harrison - Check.

I'm down with R1 results tonight.
