2019 Porsche 911 (992)

Personally, there's just that bit too much bodywork on the rear bumper between the badges and the top edge of the number plate.

Other than that, inside and out, good job Porsche. đź‘Ť

I’m with you in the third brake light. I see what Porsche was aiming for, but it seems sloppy compared to how exacting every other part of the design is.

It just grabs your attention for the wrong reasons and takes everything else away.

At least they've stopped doing it like this.

I like bits of it, it's growing on me. I love the front end but the rear is something I'll have to wait to see in person, I think. Same with the interior, it's an attractive design but it looks more like that of a luxury saloon than a sports car. The 991's interior was fantastic, and in terms of design I think this is a step down. Still, I'm loving the new colour options:

If I was ordering one I'd be torn between the green and brown leather, but I love Aventurine Green on the exterior.

Well, it'd make Johnny Painter happy, if nothing else...

Also, anyone else think that the shifter looks like an electric razor for women?
I kinda wish they'd done away with the lower dashboard entirely, like a classic 911. If you're going to have PDK the console is pretty redundant below those air vents, and you could easily relocate the functions of the dozen or so switches I can see there. Give manual ones a separate, smaller console around the shifter.

It bothers me that with the model designation on the back you get three different fonts right next to one another.

I like the Porsche script in the taillight, as a nice contrast to its surroundings. I stuck with just the 911 badge for my build, though it's not clear to me if that's a goldish badge or just the lighting.

I love the Porsche lettering in the taillights too. It's like what they did on the 718 which looks amazing too.

Meh, the 718 refresh ruined my favorite part of the Cayman. No, not the engine, but the integrated taillight/spoiler combo. :(
