Any thoughts on going 15M/5S at Fuji next Wednesday?
It sounds like I'll want the brake bias on my Genesis Gr.3 to be about +1 or +2, then - maybe even +3. I'll likely start on Mediums and see how far that takes me, then switch to Softs sometime before there's five laps left. Generally, I think I'll gain the most time swapping to Softs later, as I'll have less fuel weighing the car down.Tire life will depend on your car and how you drive it, I’d be willing to bet the stints will vary a bit. Fuji destroy the front left tires.

Sounds good. I think I need to remember that it's not like last year where there were five regions, and as such, there'll be more players that I'll be racing against for this season. Which also means that the ranking I'll have among the other Hyundai drivers could easily fluctuate when compared to how I did last year.Run a couple practice races in a lobby or custom race mode. Find out how long each tires lasts on your car, then you can know when to take the meds off if you start on them. You don’t wanna be running Medium laps if you could be on softs.
Basically, less theorizing, more practicing. 👍

Yeah, but I wanna do my best. It may sound a bit cringe-y, but I actually like being able to brag about how I was 5th in CT out of over 70 drivers for the 2020 Nations Cup. Not to mention I was the best in my county, but I don't mention that because it never says if there's even anyone else in your county - so I very well could've been the sole driver from my county! It’s best to not even look at ratings, just do some practice and go race. Ratings don’t matter for anyone who’s not a Top 10 alien.
Where is it? Brazil? These guys all had 5 bars for once haha
Might want to wait three days to see if PD nerfs your car before developing a game plan.Any thoughts on going 15M/5S at Fuji next Wednesday?

The rankings are useless when a driver in a lower split can get far more points than a higher split driver who finishes in the back half. EMEA has this problem in spades and it's a lot more prevalent in the Americas now. It’s best to not even look at ratings, just do some practice and go race. True because you'll otherwise know that you lost at least two tenths because of it. Also....Might want to wait three days to see if PD nerfs your car before developing a game plan.
I had the same experience in slot 3 yesterday. Absolutely no respect shown, nobody wanted to lead the quali train, and the lag was unbearable. I didn't even get to race! I, like many others, was disconnected. Entire splits were disconnected before they were even put in lobbies! I think PD should restart the season and go back to the 5 region format.Yesterday in Slot 4 Top Split was about the worst lag I've ever expected in GT Sport. Had my qualifying ruined. Taken out T1 because of lag. Then was stuck with a group of cars constantly getting sided wiped, pushed off and giving each other penalties to where we all fell way behind everyone else.
I agree, I was in the first time slot and the lag was really bad. Half the room was from SA and I had 3 yellow bars. It took forever to match and I was afraid I was going to get discoed. The racing was impossible with all the others jumping around like they were. I got a penalty for "colliding with another car" when I was behind him at the apex, I don't think I touched him. Round 1 was just as bad for me. I wholeheartedly agree with going back to the way it was with 5 regions.I think PD should restart the season and go back to the 5 region format.
I enjoyed being 32nd in EMEA for my manufacturer for a week. It’s best to not even look at ratings, just do some practice and go race. Ratings don’t matter for anyone who’s not a Top 10 alien.

Apparently I'm 142th for Lexus
The amount of lag in these Manu races is getting concerning.
I’m hoping this is “just” PD taking resources from GTS, deprioritizing it in favour of GT7, not an actual trend for future games.
I finished my FIA Race yesterday but the points didn’t count/register to my overall standings
Anyone had this Bug too???
This Season I just have no luck it seems.
1st Round at Catalunya got disconnected halfway through the race and due to my working schedule I only could do the 1st slot, so 0 Points…
Yesterday 0 Points again and guess what, it was again my only shot I could do because of my Nightshift. Worst thing is i managed to win the Race…
Hey Q , of course I still use my STR Account for FIA races exclusively.Which account are you using my friend? I remember people used to get 0 if they got DC’d before the race finish countdown was over.
What Stats Page is that? I‘ve never seen that before?! Anyway, i guess I just have a bad luck streak lately…but no worries. Is it still showing like that?
I had a look at the recent races page on your stats page. Yesterday's race is showing like this:

Something obviously happened in the background.
Mine is also saying 'no info sorry' but my points have counted and the full roster of racers is there.
There is a lot of things going on with the servers and maybe this is the cause of your issue. If you can try and contact Sony/ PD.

The thing is I didn’t get disconnected yesterday.
I finished the race, got the obligatory Victory Scene displayed and then returned to the Race Finish Overall Standings Screen.
I then left the lobby and when I checked my Points it showed nothing.
Not even 0 like in the 1st race where I got disconnected.
Just blank.
As if I didn’t even attend to race…
Of course I do. And I’m definitely not going to change it, although STR doesn’t exist anymore, sadly.Must be a bug on EMEA server as I can’t load your results page.
You still have the STR liveries on your Ferrari?
