FCY, safety car deployed. Debris spotted on the front straight.

Ok folks, you have at least 20 mins to do important things in real life, depending if they let the cars to pit and then re-arrange them after that. :indiff:

Lights are off on the Safety car, we are going green!

The Acura seems to accelerate much better out the corners then the Cadillacs, but Caddies seem to have better brakes and reel the Acura's in in the corners.

An utter shame for the #01 after Magnussen's pass at the bus stop, but Pagenaud in the #48 Caddy should still give Rossi some food for thought.

Meanwhile, the GTD lead battle between Mercedes and Ferrari rages on, with Ellis and Nielsen at the wheel of the #57 and #21 respectively.

And the GTD leaders have come together!

#57 Merc spins the #21 Ferrari into the tyres after clipping the inside grass at Turn 1. Both cars still running... but the #21 has a puncture.

GTD Ferrari and Mercedes get together in turn 1. Ferrari slight contact with tire barrier.

Edit: Ferrari has cut tire.

Suspension and aero damage also reported on the #21; have to say that it did look like it squeezed the #57 onto the grass while trying to go around the outside.

Looks like the #31 Cadillac is back out on track. Sounds a bit healthier than before with a repaired exhaust according to IMSA Radio.

Interesting to hear Ron Fellows responding to IMSA Radio's questions about a potential Corvette prototype appearing in the near-future: "Never say never."

I mean, we had the Daytona Prototype and IMSA GTP versions, so the idea of a C8-styled LMDh wouldn't be too far-fetched in my opinion.

Smoke from the #01 Cadillac! Right-rear puncture!

Dixon nursing it back to the pits as we go full-course yellow.
