Not to imply anything negative, but kind of weird to see a driver have their cell phone on them in the car. Unless it's way more frequent than I would've believed, we just obviously never see it.

I'm pretty sure they all do in case they have to get out of the car to attempt to repair it.

I was impressed that such a small outfit was going to run with the big dogs, but it doesn't seem like they are quite up to the task now does it?
I am absolutely, 100% behind the entire project, the concept of someone doing hypercars "properly", and every member of driving and technical staff on the team...

... except for one of them, who is unfortunately the public face of everything about it and acts like a total brat.

I also notice it looked to be plugged into something, wonder if that was an external antenna on the car or for power? Wouldn't think they would need power if it was charged before the race start.

As others have said. Pretty much all endurance cars have a phone in the car in case the radio is destroyed in an off.

A Porsche 911 was involved. Judging by the illuminated number, I think it was car #56.

EDIT: #33 TF Sport Aston Martin was the second car involved, but it sounded like something was wrong with it before it hit the tires.

#85 Iron Lynx Ferrari has a puncture now!

EDIT: #47 Cetilar Ferrari has spun off and hit the tire barriers on the approach to the Mulsanne Straight!

EDIT 2: I just want to talk about how we've been going for seven hours now, and the lead and second place GTE Pro cars are still only separated by half a second...

#36 Alpine beached at the first chicane!

EDIT: They've got it going now. Fourth in class, sixth overall. Cause of the incident appears to be water on the tires as he braked for the chicane.

Late to comment but that double(but seperate) incident at the first chicane with the Porsche spin and double rear puncture on the Aston was so bizarre.

They just interviewed Mr. Glyckenhaus now to ask how he's enjoying being at Le mans and all he could talk about is this laundry list of every little advantage the Toyotas have and how the BoP sucks.
