I'm pretty sure they all do in case they have to get out of the car to attempt to repair it.Not to imply anything negative, but kind of weird to see a driver have their cell phone on them in the car. Unless it's way more frequent than I would've believed, we just obviously never see it.
They didn't mean it...
I am absolutely, 100% behind the entire project, the concept of someone doing hypercars "properly", and every member of driving and technical staff on the team...I was impressed that such a small outfit was going to run with the big dogs, but it doesn't seem like they are quite up to the task now does it?
As others have said. Pretty much all endurance cars have a phone in the car in case the radio is destroyed in an off.Not to imply anything negative, but kind of weird to see a driver have their cell phone on them in the car. Unless it's way more frequent than I would've believed, we just obviously never see it.
Better to be connected for power and running than the battery run out when you need it.I also notice it looked to be plugged into something, wonder if that was an external antenna on the car or for power? Wouldn't think they would need power if it was charged before the race start.
A Porsche 911 was involved. Judging by the illuminated number, I think it was car #56.
EDIT: #33 TF Sport Aston Martin was the second car involved, but it sounded like something was wrong with it before it hit the tires.
About seven hours, based on the time you posted. How much have I missed? I just got out of work and didn't get to see the start of the race.
They just interviewed Mr. Glyckenhaus now to ask how he's enjoying being at Le mans and all he could talk about is this laundry list of every little advantage the Toyotas have and how the BoP sucks.
Can't wait for the wake up call when the other big players join in.They just interviewed Mr. Glyckenhaus now to ask how he's enjoying being at Le mans and all he could talk about is this laundry list of every little advantage the Toyotas have and how the BoP sucks.
We're simple folk here.😅Why in the world do you all not have the tv broadcast muted so you can listen to the radio le mans guys?
Well, you could always do as I did in 2017 and end up inadvertently listening to an onboard (in my case, the 911 RSR's) for the last 6 hours. Why in the world do you all not have the tv broadcast muted so you can listen to the radio le mans guys?
I used to do that all the time with the C6Rs.Well, you could always do as I did in 2017 and end up inadvertently listening to an onboard (in my case, the 911 RSR's) for the last 6 hours.
