You LOVE to see it!

I’m not surprised, it’s been packed all weekend, even Thursday was rather busy. They even sold out the at track parking and have been shuttling people in from the nearby fairgrounds.

Thankfully I’m a camper and don’t have to leave until tomorrow.

Did anyone see how Nascar handed Chase this win? I missed it.

It wasn't exactly the spectacle I was hoping for.

It was when they said Truex was speeding while going 10 mph slower than the limit.

The twitter banter after the race has been interesting... some fans seem to think Chase can only win at road courses and forget that he swept the final two oVaLs of last season. The Playoffs will be interesting this year and I expect the #9 to turn up 🔥 🔥 🔥

Why? His number is 9.
Bill uses that number, granted the numbers on the SRX cars are so small they really don't matter, they rely more on car colors and names to identify drivers.

Brett Griffin from DBC doesn't believe Kurt nor Ross will be in the second trackhouse car next year, if that's the case then who?

Ryan Newman? Almost has to be Kurt Busch though. What other veteran driver's are there? They'll gain that Ganassi tech team, but they really aren't that much better than the guys Trackhouse have running their cars now, so they'd still need some mid-level or better driver. Would a DiBenedetto be a step up over Ross? I'm not sure. Would Matt be available (with Keselowski leaving the Penske group)?

Trackhouse seems to have a serious benefactor, so maybe buying out a driver currently under contract? If I was them, I'd throw my money at Kurt. Just as a stable (well as stable as a Busch family member can be) placeholder.

The first track specifically configured for low hp/high downforce racing.

Which indicates high downforce is here to stay. Which makes me incredibly sad.
Quite a few drivers, including Denny Hamlin, who is in a racing weekly show I attend, are saying that this track repave could be a dart throw. SMI didn't do a good job with Texas, Kentucky or Bristol and in order to ensure a good race like the track owners want, they will need an excess of grip.

Race was fun until the final stage. Then it’s just been caution after caution after caution.

Edit: I wish we could just end races under yellow again.
