It seems like no matter how many times I watch the replay I just can't grasp that the whole thing happened under green as Chastain was so much faster than everyone else you'd think the caution was out and he just completely ignored it.

As for the final 4 I can't think of one that's been more compelling, you have the big 3 teams each represented with the 4th being an underdog. You also have 2 previous champions as well as 2 looking for their first.

Sounds like he had a concussion stemming from Homestead and the knock at Martinsville aggravated it. The new cars have produced some good racing, but it's hard to believe that they are less safe than previous generations. Or at least they seem so.
The fact a basic highway style crash test was never implemented shows that NASCAR was pretty underprepared with this car. It wasn't even until October 5th of this year they actually did a crash test on the front and rear, lmao.

Imagine if they hadn't postponed the new car's debut a year.

Can't say I saw that one coming, guessing Johnson-Petty GMS will be the name. I do wonder what his number will be as I can't see Hendrick giving up the #48.

He ran the 44 in ASA so maybe that? Would fit right in with the 42 and 43.

If Christopher Bell wins the championship I'm changing my username to CBell20 for a week. If it's Ross Chastain, it will be RChastain1. If it's either Joey Logano or Chase Elliot, my username will stay the same.

My money's on Chastain. His season and career in general warrants a Championship win, to be honest. That Hail melon at Martinsville followed by him winning the championship this year would be a perfect chapter ending, hell, even a book ending.

Logano, Bell, and Elliot are all good in my book, too, but there's just something about a guy who wall rode to beat his brother in a video game, winning it. Pure kino.

It's now official, his first race will be the 500, number and sponsor to be announced (although smart money is on Carvana).

Zane Smith is the Truck series Champion!

He really deserves it after the season he's had so I'm thrilled to see him get it.

Also, kudos to Ben Rhodes for racing him clean, he probably could have just dumped Smith but didn't do more than a little bump.

Definitely got a future with Front Row after that win.

Carvana stock is down 97% in the last year, they will be lucky to afford the for sale windshield stickers on their own inventory.

I'm willing to bet that's got something to do with him just doing the Indy 500 next year for Chip Ganassi, if they're even going to field him.

That's pretty much how Danica's last Daytona 500 and Indy 500 went.

Starting lineup for the NASCAR Championship race contenders.

P1 - Logano
P5 - Elliott
P17 - Bell
P25 - Chastain

I'd love to see Allgaier get the championship, but really anyone but the little brat Ty Gibbs would be fine with me.
