Nice story on Jesse Iwuji on Jayski. I can definitely support him over a trash driver like Bubba. He wants to work for success whereas Bubba wants MJ and crybaby Denny to hand him everything

So because Ty Gibbs is a 🤬 we went from there being 2 JRM cars and 2 JGR cars to 3 JRM cars and only 1 JGR. Granted I prefer that outcome, but how bloody stupid do you have to be to race your teammate that's still in the playoffs like that?

Coach better smack some sense into this kid because I can't imagine his future cup teammates are going to put up with that kind of crap.

That move by Ty takes the award away from Bubba for “Worst Move of the Year”.
You are locked into the final 4. Your teammate needs to win to advance. You gain nothing from winning. Why on earth do you take out your teammate? Deserves every boo he got from the crowd and more.

He won't be his teammate next year so he doesn't care.

True but he is this year and now has absolutely no incentive to help Ty while he goes against 3 cars from the same team. If anything it may even give Jones incentive to hinder Ty and in turn help his future team.

That was insane. Remember when Carl Edwards tried it years ago? It failed but this time it worked.

Martinsville is maybe the only track on the schedule that Chastain would've made that move work.

Props to him.

Think that was Kansas. I want to say Chastain or someone else also tried a similar move earlier in the season. Probably here or Bristol might be the only places where something that insane could work.

Bristol wouldn't be one I'd think it would work at. I only think it would work at a flatter track.

The question is will NASCAR clamp down on the tactic next time at Martinsville? I could see the entire field trying it in the spring.
