Finally, it's been revealed. Not too bad really. I've seen worse (on this page. Edit: Damn, this post went to the next page :embarrassed:. Oh well, last page :dopey:).

With this being a short term deal and with several other different ones locked in Courtney could be the new Percat.

No sponsor for Courtney yet? Judging by him being in a Tickford racesuit for the season launch last night. Or they just might be saving the reveal for the Friday, maybe.

It's a shame with the alpinestars brand returning to the category that frosty's suit is a bit of an eye sore for me. Way too much yellow in my opinion.

Yeah there are certainly worse liveries out there this year. And this is more than likely for this weekend only so hopefully car 5 has some better liveries this year.

Well in general the Tickford liveries are pretty awful. Sure Cam's livery is fine. But it's just black with Monster logos on it, which it has been since 2017.

I've never understood why Monster liveries are always so boring no matter the series. Apart from their normal flavor their cans usually have some cool designs that would make for a killer livery.

Sounds like Pye and Jacobson are in the same boat, of having rotating sponsors. Disappointing that Jacobson's Subway deal is only for the first two rounds.

The 2016 was great because it had an actually design. I wish they were creative but if it ain't broke don't change it.
 
I wonder if the Groves argument is going to be that Cauchi is being employed in a different roll so that null and voids the contract. It works for most businesses and happens quite often. They can make an employee redundant because they don't like them and simply change the job description name and employ someone else in exactly the same role as the redundant employee. Could possibly work the other way round too????

I also heard on the telecast that possibly Cauchi thinks he's served his 6 months as (to him) the start time was from the date he gave notice.

This is also only something that T8 does... why is that? Hint: They're knobheads :P

Also, the Mustang has slightly different aero and weight distribution front to rear so I doubt anything set up related will transfer directly over, and if they (T8) were serious about their gardening leave they should've given Cauchi his marching orders on the spot like they've done with everyone else in this position... and paid the bloke for it!

Think that is exactly the game Grove are going to play.

It's still weird to me, how any one that T8 signs magically doesn't have to serve the same type of "gardening leave". Might just be a case of the other teams not being bothered to enforce it, though.

Edit: Shocker quali for Tickford and Percat as well.

I'm holding off on GT7 until I can afford a PS5 and then actually find one. :lol:

Uneventful race and pretty predictable, at least with SVG and ADP being the first two. Mostert getting onto the podium was a bit of a surprise. And Tickford appear to have a lot of work to do.

:lol: GT7 of course. Another write off season for me until next year. Might have peeked over the fence, to see the Gen3 cars, as the race was supposed to be around the corner. Oh well.
 
I didn’t catch race 1 because despite my best efforts I couldn’t stay awake to watch it (it started at like 1AM local time).

Today's race was rather good from beginning to end though.
 
Mostert leading the championship? It won't last but I'll enjoy it for the time being. I can't recall the last time a Walkinshaw car did that. :lol:

Really hope WAU is able to bring in a new manufacturer into the series. But a decision by mid year, isn't leaving them a hell of a lot time to develop and build an entirely new car.

At least most of the bugs should be sorted for the chassis but yeah, not much wiggle room for engine and aero. Maybe going to Ford??? I'd gladly have Chaz back on the right side of the fence :D

I'm still a Holden guy at heart. I'll support the team, whatever they end up going with. But it would be a bit of a bitter pill for me if they did switch to Mustangs. Holding out hope for a third manufacturer. 🤞 :lol:

Sorry, I couldn’t say but you might find it worth checking out Superview (subscribing via YouTube is the preferred option, I believe).

Just buy a Superview sub mate, I've been doing it for years. £38 for the whole year, such good value and you get to see everything - the entire broadcast. The only thing I don't like is they don't have an time index, other than that it's perfect.
