Just been given the go ahead by Supercars.

Only problem I have, is that there's going to be a month break between Gold Coast at the end of October and Adelaide in early December. A long wait, especially if the championship is still up for grabs.

The one thing I have always disliked about this series is the long waits between rounds.

Revised livery for Fullwood. This works way better than the blue he ran at SMP, imo.

ADP and both WAU cars outside the ten, with both MSR cars in it. Who saw that coming? Should make for an interesting race, at least in the mid-field anyway.

Shane's being Shane as usual.
It's borderline the moves on Cam and WD but there are ok. It's hard racing but it's also smart because he isn't allowing them to have the chance to do anything because of the sidedraft. But the move can go wrong as we saw with Frosty and Reynolds which took out Chaz. So it's borderline because we saw what can happen if it goes wrong.

While personally I think the move on WD was okay and the one on Cam was borderline (leaning more to the illegal side) both moves were actually against the rules. I've highlighted the relevant part.

Definitely illegal imo.... and no Cam you won't be able to give it back. How does he not know this yet!!!

There’s nothing wrong with a bit of contact, but if you have to essentially impede the driver you’re overtaking then that’s not fair. Haven’t similar moves been penalised on the final corner of Townsville?

Hmm... interesting indeed. Well this is gonna cause the usually politics on brand lines about what the rule is. Putting my Holden hat off and looking at the rule you've highlighted he should've been penalised. For some reason it wasn't even looked at. So it comes down to interruption. Obviously for all of us it's different to Shane's and the stewards on what's ok and what's not.

Going to be a huge effort from the MSR crew to get Le Brocq on the grid for the last race. Considering he didn't finish the first race yesterday either, he is going to have a lot of good tyres available if they can get it repaired.

Well, it was nice to feel optimistic about WAU for a few weeks. Seems they have gone back to their old inconsistent habits. Disappointing weekend for Erebus too. Expected more from them.

Yep, it comes down to interpretation, and unfortunately this is where Supercars are consistently inconsistent with their rulings. Bad luck they don't actually go by the rule book.

Rubbing's racing is fine by me but unloading the oppositions rear end to gain an advantage is beyond that, hence my difference of opinions on the WD and CW incidents with SVG. While there was a fair amount of contact in both incidents the WD seemed far more side to side than the blatant unloading of Cam's car. Classic bump and run!

I thought it was blatant. He should have been issued a penalty imo. Thing is it was unnecessary, he could have got both of them without his dirty tactic.

Turn 5 is going to be wild on the opening lap, if today is anything to go by. First Feeney and now J. Kostecki in that wall.

Edit: Easy to say in hindsight but I do wonder what DJR and Erebus were thinking pitting both cars for soft's so early in the race.

What’s the deal with everyone just letting SVG through? I think Randle and Davison are the only people I’ve seen put up a fight so far.

I wonder if doing a free trial of Kayo through a VPN would work. 🤔
Someone on facebook said they are able to watch them through SuperView on the website, not on YouTube.

Edit: Unfortunately a YouTube SuperView membership doesn't give you access to the website version. Go figure.

Can confirm this does work. I helped out a mate in New Zealand a couple years back who had no other way of watching Bathurst.

Was expecting the worst when SVG cleared Chaz so easily, before the pit stops. Great work from WAU crew to get Chaz back out in front. Doubt we'll see a mistake like that from SVG again anytime soon.

And massively impressive weekend from Grove. Less so from Tickford.

Have to say, I'm really looking forward to the series going back to Perth this weekend. I've missed that track the past couple of years. It's produced some good action in the past. Just wish the the third race was on a little bit later time, like the Saturday one.
