I finally saw a GR Corolla today in the wild. It doesn't look particularly interesting, as I suspected. Its fine, but I think it doesn't really convey its specialness in the way that the Civic Type R or even Elantra N does. I think Toyota needs to do a refresh.

Got to see the current iteration of it at the NY Int’l Auto Show yesterday. I really liked it, especially seeing how it’s AWD with an AT option. (I admit I don’t know how to drive MT yet.) Plus it’s got 300HP while not even being $40k! Might end up test-driving one for giggles.
