I watched that game and it was fun seeing Young go back and forth with Penix. It is good to see how Bryce Young responded to being benched. It shows that these young QBs need time and a coach that takes advantage of what they do well.
Yeah, Penix looks super talented. Jury is still kind of out on him tho, just because that Panthers D is freakin bad. Think they have the unfortunate record now of giving up the most points ever in a season? (Which actually makes the 5-11 record look amazing in retrospect). Also, how much money does Atlanta owe Cousins over the next few years? They may have to start him just because no one else in their right mind is going to take that contract on.

I'm unsure how to process the fact that the Lions are the number-one team in the NFC, won back-to-back division titles, led the league in offensive points, and went 6-0 in the division.

Also, Sam Darnold is who we thought he was. Dude choked in the biggest game of his career and couldn't hit one of the best receivers in the league in the red zone on multiple occasions. I think the Vikings will get steamrolled by the Rams, which would make the only two teams the Vikings lost to this season being the Lions and Rams.

For the first round I see the Chargers over Houston, the Ravens over the Steelers, Buffalo over Denver, Philly over Green Bay, Tampa over Washington, and LA over the Vikings. I could see the Steelers upsetting the Ravens though and I wouldn't be sad if Green Bay trounced the Eagles.

Steelers crawling into the playoffs on a 4-game losing streak - sadly Wilson has turned back into the Bronco pumpkin. Games against the Ravens are usually close, but they and Lamar are playing so much better than us at the moment, I don't see a way to the win outside of another Justin Tucker meltdown. At least it's on Prime so I can watch us get embarrased without shelling out any extra money.

Once we're out I'll be backing the Bills (their fans deserve a winner if they have to keep shovelling the snow out of the stadium) and the Lions.

Our loss to the Seahawks didn't really matter either way. I'm glad we didn't get the Commanders as I don't think we fare that well against a mobile QB. We've got nothing to fear from the Vikings if they play like they did last night. Our defence might steamroller them but our offense has been misfiring recently, but we should still have enough to get them.

And hopefully we won't meet the Lions until the championship game!

Hope you're doing OK, @JohnBM01

Can't wait to see what happens next in this NFL showdown! Me and my friends will get our snacks/drinks ready to watch the action.
