Serial adulterer (who lied to his dying wife about cheating on her) says what?

Incidentally, I'm glad George Clooney is no John Wayne...

Damn your edit!

I think you guys are doing alright down under.
We've got our fair share of alt right weirdo's in government but considering how much of our media is owned by Murdoch, and is conservative leaning. Its surprising that they aren't the overwhelming vocal majority. I don't know how we've managed to survive it.

So far, anyway

I'm not sure how true this tweet is but it sounds plausible to me:

Archived link as the wkow.com website doesn't work in my country:

Several replies to the tweet say that the same thing is happening in Pennsylvania where election staff are forbidden from counting votes until 7 am on election day.

Man, this Walz guy seems like more of a bastard with every new story that comes out.

The kid's not doing well with crime and addiction and instead of letting him focus and get real good at them, Walz told him to do sports.
Watch there be video of this asshole helping a guy who's been paralyzed for twenty years to walk again and now that guy has to buy shoes on a fairly regular basis.

I see the same scenario playing out in other swing states like Georgia.

He needs to sit down. There’s no way he can spit this drivel for four years. He’s been lost for years and I can’t see him holding the high chair for a presidential term? They’d put him in the insane asylum before time.

Yes, who else could remember the critically acclaimed, highly commercially successful, frequent all-time best movie poll charting, Best Picture, Director, Actor, Actress, and Screenplay Oscar-winning movie, The Silence of the Lambs and its iconic central character - repeatedly selected as one of the greatest movie villains of all time in numerous surveys, played in five films by actors that include Anthony Hopkins and Brian Cox and in a very recent two-season TV series by Mads Mikkelsen - but a very stable genius?

His obsession with Lecter is... weird.

That's sort of the point though, right? He's working for Republicans as a front man to win the election, for whatever reason. But once he's actually in office there's a good chance he dies of just being old. If he doesn't die on schedule, there's endless fodder for declaring him incompetent for the office and letting Vance take over. That's if they don't decide to Putin him out a window or have him Putin himself twice to the back of the head I suppose.

And I assume Vance has agreed to be the puppet for the people who really want to be in power, because otherwise there's no sensible reason for choosing him as a VP. He's a muppet in an almost comically literal sense.

It's a setup - if Trump wins you don't get Trump as president, you get something worse.

Another started/going... This time it's Iowa GOP chair Jeff Kaufmann crowing about his anticipation for the Des Moines Register's election poll:

After the Register's poll put Kamala three points ahead in the state:

This is a little old and out of date (much like its subject). Wish I'd seen it when it'd been posted.

Panorama has made a follow up documentary which is available on BBC iPlayer in the UK.
