Looked to me like all they did was change the aero package, no problem. Did it go back into the garage after they changed out the rear wings?

No clue... have they did a brake pad change yet? Great that they are back out.... YAY! :D The JLOC Lambo is back out... but I hope the drivers are ready.... Sepang is next for the Super GT. --- Randy

I don't think the prototypes will need to do a brake pad change seeing as they are using carbon brakes along with the GT1 cars. The only teams that will need to change there brakes will be the GT2 teams because they are using steel brakes.

I see, a broken suspension for the #78 car. Poor them, reliability is not really on their side.

With the sky getting brighter, after such a long night... It's just beautiful to have a look at the sky.

For most of the teams, the sunrise is probably the most beautiful sight ever. It meant that they made it all the way through the night. 👍

That's just my thoughts though.

How are we all doing, if we are all watching it? Myself personally am starting to struggle despite drinking two Red Bull cola engery drinks, which are disgusting, and doing other things to take my mind off of it

It's only 11:00PM here so im doing good and should be good for another 3 or 4 hours. ill probably just stick it out till 9am then take a nap before the Canadian GP

It's almost 10:00pm here. I have a couple errands to run around 11:00 and plan on staying up to watch the finish. Wish me luck.

Now they have the longest day of there life ahead of them though. Once the track starts to heat up again we should start to see more problems arise with some of the cars.

The positions are exactly how I wanted/predicted them before the start of the race at the moment.:sly: The Pug still leads, the Saleen leads GT1 and the Vettes are killing GT2.:D I'm one off with P2, I wanted Brabham in first but he's 2nd.:(

5 AM here the sun is rising:crazy: still 9 hours and a lot of surprises to come but my eyes are closing and I'm drunk with sleep:guilty:

So I will check this when I wake up to keep up with what happened while I sleep:)

Good race for you Guys:tup:

It's just midnight here. I don't know if I should sleep now, wake up early and watch the finish, and be able to see the F1 race as well, or stay up all the way and risk dropping dead mid way and missing both the finish and F1 race. Maybe I should go get a cup of coffee.

And wasn't it all the other teams whining that got the Corvettes that extra weight? I do believe it was, but the reason GT1 died wasn't from whining and you know it. Even with all of the penalty's placed against the vettes they still managed to win even after the ACO continued to put smaller air restrictors and more weight on the car. The other teams just couldn't put enough money into there cars to compete.

yeha, but every blue moon when they lost a race, they'd come back and whine. And Aston Martin didn't care. they were like "Hey go ahead and lighten them. We'll still race with 'em."

And the lack of money is part of it, but a lot of the teams simply moved to GT2 class.

Smoking Ferrari. his day is done.

#11 off

I expect to see JLOC back next year in either the Merci, or a Gallardo. Maybe we'll see a Mercedes SRS entered...although, maybe not. Mercedes is understandably paranoid about racing at LeMans.

LOL guys.. JLOC = Japan Lamborghini Owners Club. How can then they drive a Toyota or a Mercedes??

Mercedes will not come back to Le Mans. Not just after what they've been through in 1999, but also they have secured a campaign for Formula 1.

I'd guess at a Gallardo, ironaclly in Europe we don't have a GT2 championship this year due to a lack of commitment from teams and manufacturers who blame spiralling costs, but we do have a GT1 series.

*wonders if Toyota would come back after NOT conquering Le Mans in those years they raced there.... Fast.. yes... Wins? NO.* Brake work for the 64 car. Btw... I wish brake job on my car was that fast!!! JLOC in garage again. :(

Toyota would have won in 1999, if it wasn't for the puncture. Maybe next year, they might give LMP1 a go again and give Peugeot and Audi a run for their money first year :)

Arguably the best performance JLOC has had at Le Mans in so long.

Uh oh! Pit crew going to get the blame for this looks like.

I meant a Merc as a separate entry.

And Merc's fear of LeMans doesn't just steam from the flips in 1999. It's EVERY TIME they've gone to LeMans something catastrophic happens. The Sauber C9 also experienced a flip near the same hump that the CLR did. And then WAY back in 1955, the original SL 300 was cut off by a Jaguar diving into the pits and ended up catching air off the back of the Jag, then a hump of dirty and several pieces of the car landed in the grand stands, killing several people. The body of that Merc essentially turned into Thermite and burned to the ground so hot, no one could get near it to save the driver, who also perished in the crash.

Understandably, they fear Le Sarthe. However, I don't think the CLK-GTR experienced any problems at LeMans.

Engine fire from the leading Peugeot. OH NO!
