Nurburgring 24 hour
Suzuki GSX-R/4 Great car for 200 A-Spec points in this race. Fully lightened, racing brakes, stock suspension, R1 tires, wing(downforce: 22 in front, 28-30 in the rear, i recomend 30 for more stability later in the race when the chassis weakens), racing tranny(autoset the tranny to 14), 3 plate clutch, racing flywheel, custom limited slip(default settings), racing exhaust, racing chip, and no oil change. You may have to try a couple times to get the correct starting grid for 200 points.(Calibra, Falken GT-R, Autobacs MR-S, C-West Silvia, and MB 190 E Touring Car)
If you push hard, i was running laps between 6:49-6:55, you should be able to get 6 laps out of the tires, and i was taking 60 liters of fuel every 12 laps, but lighten up a bit and you can make seven laps on tires and take fuel every 14. You can wait longer on fuel, but i was just taking it every 2 stops because it won't make it 3 and that would just be an extra stop.
204 laps-> Would have been more, but my bro did, I should say tried, proabably about 10-15 laps in the mid to high 7min range.

i think i got 224 laps at Nurburgring and i used the Toyota Minolta

Lots of people are posting LMP cars for the Nurb 24hr race, these seem a lot like B-spec overkill cars to me. 
Did everyone read post #1, the submissions are for A-spec races only! Surely if you drove 24hrs in an LMP monster against DTM opposition you'd be bored silly right?
Apologies if you really did do this in A-spec.

Did it in A-Spec, but I was a total rookie when I bought the game when it came to endurance races (never had done any on the past games), so as soon as I got the cash to buy the R8 (even though you can win it, didn't know that then) I just jumped straight into that and had done with it.

Using a race car to A-spec the 'ring 24 Hours boring? I find race cars envigurating to drive. The AI is so poor in GT4, even when there is competition it's boring anyway

drivers...). I find lapping the competion 40+ times quite fun, plus if you're trying to improve your lap times, you've 24 Hours of practice. It says in the first post, A-Spec only. Changing the title might potentially make it just another eyesore of a thread...Depending on the change of course!
Oh yeah, DTM competition?
. It ranges from a defected S2000 RC that struggles to maintain a painful losing margin - The BMW M3 RC, which just smokes the rest of the field!👍. Hehe, not to mention the Italian-turned-German Alfa....

I'm currently doing the Nurb 24hr race now.

I'm not using any softy LMP car! Give me something challenging! 
The little bugger is fighting me every inch of the way and that's even before chassis wear sets in!

Glad to see so many people like to take the whole race in A-spec, with some breaks in between sessions. 👍
Anyway, I had an idea 💡. I was thinking of putting all of the people who have completed all 3 of the 24 Hour races in a separate section of this thread, with short abbreviations for the race names and their cars.
What do you guys think about it?
