24 hour Nürburgring inclusion hints at future challenges?

The current 2-5 challenge takes place on GT5's 24-hour layout of the Nürburgring. Since the challenge takes place on a small part of the track that is identical to the Nordschleife and Type V variations of the track, it stands to reason that PD might have included the 24-hour variation of the Nürburgring for a reason. I wonder if the reason is that they intend to use the full track (or at least part of the GP section) in a future GT Academy challenge.

If they only intended to use portions of the Nordschleife for GT Academy challenges, one would think that they would just include that variation, as it would probably be a smaller download.

If I were really to go out on a limb, I might suggest that a full lap of the 24-hour Nürburgring would make an interesting 8-5.

I think it would be a very frustrating and interesting experience! I think it would also be cool if they made an endurance type event, you have to log say like 4 hours. You would be able to pause and resume, then find out who turns the most laps at the end of it! Invalidate any laps that there are errors in, and I think there would be an extremely interesting competition right there!

Wouldn't be surprised. The 2009 GT Academy graduate will be racing in the Nurburgring 24 Hour this year.

I wouldve expected it to be a part of previous academies as well, but here we are.

The only issue I see with them using the ring is people mowing the lawn like crazy. I think it would be fun with the gratuitous use of cones to keep people's laps clean.

Would be unfair to put a known circuit in the final stage. There are people who race there all the time (like me online hehe). I think everyone has to be in the same position (zero) to the last challenge.

I'm on top 31th at the moment in 2-5 (i know i can do better though) and i did it 2 days ago... (5th). Not playing Academy for now.

One does not simply... play GT Academy and rank at the top without previously playing GT5.

Meaning anyone in the hunt by round 8 probably has driven the ring a bunch of times, so it's an important piece of the puzzle to know the track... nice to point it out DrKronin.
