24 hour Spa & Daytona

With the announcements that both those tracks will have day/night and weather, is it safe to assume that we can expect 24 hour races there?

I'm much more excited about the endurance racing in GT6 since we can expect the ability to save from the beginning.

I just hope if we do get four 24 hour races, that they're not all prototype based. Nürburgring desperately needs to be switched to gt cars. Personally I would like to see Daytona as GT cars as well.

I think we'll see Multi class awards racing this time. Cars like the GT3's and Delta Wing can't win outright against Prototypes at LeMans. There are 6 confirmed GT3 class cars and enough prototypes and GT1 class cars to fill in the rest. I'm hoping more GT3 cars are revealed.

Spa should should be all GT cars unless they do a classic Spa 24H.

I agree it's time to change the Nurburgring line-up.

Daytona is another beast. I'd like to know if AI will start using RM cars.

Nope, it was confirmed by Kaz in an interview that there is no seperation of scoring between cars

Ugh, that's lame. Well, I really hope we get some gt-only races then. Nürburgring is a must.

Racing separate classes online can just be organized by the league operator, not really a huge issue if it's not in the game itself.

Samus was the one who linked me to Kaz saying no to multi class.

It's ok this time as I can use my imagination because there's enough GT3 cars to give a mini class out of 16.

If they put LMPs, 90's GTs, and GT3s on the grid I can still consider them competition or not in game.

I'd bet Spa would get a 24hr race before Apricot Hill gets any kind.

Maybe a 12 hour at AH, with the last few hours being at night. That would be cool.

I was actually going to bring that up. I was wondering the same thing.

You would have thought what with having raced it several times, Kaz would have the sense to use the right cars on the Nordschleife 24 hours, and maybe even have several versions of it. LMP, GT1, GT3 etc.

That said though as well, I would not be overly surprised if they licensed the event officially.

And with Daytona having day/night, heres hoping they at least model 1 of the DP cars. Hopefully the Corvette.

Would go nicely on that race.

I so wish the Corvette DP (and GTP for that matter, over 1,00hp) would be in the game, in fact I wished/hoped they would get stealth versions but that won't happen. Either ways, DP's will be much appreciated.

I just hope they keep the bumpy road surface on Daytona. If they iron it out dead flat, like most tracks are already, it most certainly won't be at the top of my favourite list anymore.

To have these two 24h endurance races in addition to the existing ones (Le Mans, Nordschleife) would be fantastic. Also I hope they will restrict the 24h Nordschleife race to GT3 cars maximum. And a possible Corvette DP as car for the Rolex 24h Daytona... I would be speechless. Hopefully PD is doing what they have to do to make the endurance races an outstanding experience and not a throwaway opportunity.
