24 minutes of Nurburgring in a daily driver?

No tune for the Tigra?! These tuners are focussing on the wrong cars! :P

Plus it's not about the winning. It's about the taking part in a Vauxhall.
"Being second is to be the first of the ones who lose." - Ayrton Senna. It's his Birthday, I figured I'd quote him .

Bug seriously, if I can win, that would be amazing. I wrote a small poem about it.

Roses are red,
Violets are violet-colored blue,
McLarens are fast,
But not as fast as you.

Would it be Senna's Birthday today? Good knowledge and a fitting quote in the circumstances too.

Happy Birthdayday Ayrton!

See if you can invoke his spirit for the Tigra drive. You may need the help

Poem's great too 👍
Yup, 3/21/1960. I became a fan after watching his documentary on Netflix, he got 🤬 his entire career.

Definitely going to need some help with no tune.

And nice to hear, considering I spent all of 2 minutes thinking it up . Here's another one:

Roses are red,
That much is true,
But Violets are purple,
Not 🤬 blue..

But back on topic, a little iffy for me playing tonight, starting to get sick...

It's worth noting that SENNA is a very biased look at his career. He was indeed 🤬 over a few times but he was a ruthless racing driver and very hot-headed. A neutral may say that many times he deserved what he got. Don't forget he intentionally took himself and Prost out at the start of a race just so he could guarantee victory in the championship. I'm a big fan, not a neutral and I grew up watching him, sadly I can still remember that fatal day at Imola quite vividly :(, but he wasn't as hard done by as the documentary makes out most the time.

 Hope you feel better soon 👍. I just got rid of the flu so I can sympathise.

Yeah, he was in the wrong that time, for sure. I didn't do any research, my only knowledge was off of that documentary.

But what's worse than not being able to play, is I have work this weekend, so that's going to suck if I have a fever and sore throat and all that other stuff.

What does the Tigra max out on pp at? My Civic maxed at 515.

It's very good documentary indeed but it is biased as I say.

Yeah it's not about getting sick and going to work. I don't envy you there I'm afraid. Best you can hope for is being sent home- not that great if you need the money though like I did last week but at least you can get some rest.

Not sure about the Tigra's PP. I'd be surprised if it goes past 480 to be honest. Wretched thing!

Damn, 480? That's going to be tough...

But I probably won't get sent home (Good thing, I desperately need the money), my boss has the train of thought that, if you can walk, you can work. I get paid by the hour, so I don't care .

Just my best guess based on your Civic and a post in another thread stating a Mini Cooper S '02 with 310 BHP is around 500PP.

Tuning-wise I'd have a look at maybe a Corsa tune or a few other FF cars with similar weight to the Tigra and work from that base

Your boss sounds similar to mine, If your limbs are attached you can work! Unfortunately for my boss people don't seem willing to get in the back of a taxi driven by a guy who's faintly groaning and slowly turning green! :ill:

Here's the story:

I was in fourth at the start of the second lap, all was going good, but I made the car too stiff. I hit a bump, had a really bad wreck, and ragequit politely retreated.

But this is very possible with a good tune, so if I ever get around to it, or if someone else does it, I'll revisit the tigra. For now though, it's umpossible! Not a doubt in my mind I could have at least held fourth if I didn't wreck.

Already done it in a tigra. One of the easy ones. lol. I'll upload some replays later as well as some tips that help me out in this awesome race. I got the Toyota Bb, Mini '98 & Ford KA on replay amongst some others I can't remember. Just busy for the next few hours with family commitments.

Laterz

Sounds good. Like I said, it is most definitely possible for me, I just had a crappy tune. If I ever work on it this will be an easy one.

Yup, the Abarth 500 is one of my favorite cars. It's a giant killer with only 491 PP. I use it frequently against the 650 AI cars.
It was no problem winning the 24 minutes at Nurburgring. I got curious and tried the '68 Karmann Ghia but the best I could do was 6th, but that's not bad out of 16 cars and with only 443 PP. Then I tried Jay Leno's '66 Toronado. That was lots of fun in the rain but I won. Hmmmm, I should try the Tank Car or the '58 Subaru 360. ;)
It's something to do while waiting for PD to do something.
