They're not stock anymore :D but still well under the suggested PP levels. Ok, except the boat. Bathurst here I come !

Cheers for the reply and trying to help.

I only play on my consol, only play on GT7 and I only really log in and play the weekly challenges or when there's an update.

I've deffinatly not changed the time zones and the only things different I have done is purchase a ps5 at Xmas (I was on a ps4 since launch) but I have played 2 weekly challenges without a problem since I set it up and the only other thing different is I started last week's challenge late, which I don't normaly do and I remember thinking will I still get my reward if I run over the deadline which I did.

Hopefully it's just one of them things and it'll be back to normal Friday.

Thanks again for your advice.
So... as you were quite sure about this and I had no reason to disbelieve you, I've been testing it and... yep, something's changed.

I ran the same test three times back in August 2024 and it wasn't an issue:

Yup, there isn't. I did the same a few weeks ago, leaving a WTC800 race until really late on and finishing it after midnight. I got the final reward for the first set and had no issue collecting the first of the next set immediately afterwards.
Fairly sure I recorded a video showing it, but it'll be on the old PS5. And, as it turns out, now superfluous.

I tested again two weeks ago (January Week 3 into January Week 4), left a gap (January Week 4 into January Week 5), and tested again this evening (January Week 5 into February Week 2... umm... yeah), and on both occasions of running the final race past midnight and picking up the final reward I couldn't pick up any rewards for the following week. In the interim week the rewards appeared as usual.

This definitely wasn't the case last summer, but it certainly looks to be an issue now.

Since I am at the x2019 events [in the menu book] and I hate starting more than 5 seconds behind, I notoriously used the x2019 to race the WTC 900. Gonna re-race it with the [few] LMP cars I have and the SF19/SF23 as well as the F3500, for fun or for grinding?

Pretty easy week, several of the races you can be way under the PP suggestion and still win without any real trouble. Sunday Cup is very easy, fun little layout with the right kind of car. Bathurst is extremely easy to win with a car way under the suggested PP, AI is very slow across the mountain and honestly they didn't seem that quick on the straights either, definitely a lot of unmodified cars you can use for this one. Didn't think much to the Ioniq race as I really don't like the way the car drives but at least you can do it with a stock car that a lot of us got for free. Turbo Sportscars again you can be pretty far under 700 PP, I like this layout of Sainte-Croix and had plenty of fun in my GRMN 86. WTC 900 was pretty good fun, used the GR010 on RM with a stop on lap 5, easy enough win and just in time before a huge amount of rain got there. Will be interested to see if anyone gets a big downpour mid race, would make things difficult for the AI and probably open up the ability to use some slower cars.

Cars for this week:
full

A few weeks ago I run into the same issue myself, finishing the last race (a 1h endurance at MP) after the midnight deadline. Collected my last ticket but for the next set of WC events, starting that day, I received not tickets at all. All back to normal the following WC set.

Another easy week, I didn't do WTC900, because I don't have the time.

1. To begin the week, I used a car I haven't used in a race before, the Mazda Demio. The only modification was that I put on sport tyres, which made it go over recommended PP. 1st place.
2. For the second race, I used the Mitsubishi GTO, which I used in week three of 2025, again, pretty easy. 1st place.
3. For the third race, I used the hyundai ioniq 5, as it was the only car I could use, I will admit, I maxxed the thing out, but it wasn't very easy, especially around pole position. 1st place.
4. Normally, I would use my ford RS500 cosworth for ROTSC, but I decided to use the Amuse S2000, this was the hardest to control, as it's very understeery. Anyone got any tuning setups to make it handle better? 1st place.

Pretty fun week, even if it's not the most challenging. I like to make it interesting by using interesting cars.

Kyoto Driving Park - Miyabi_.jpeg

Bone-stock AE86 just handles so darn well. Just glides through the corners. It feels like its got the perfect amount of power. Fun race, even if it's not the most difficult.

Mount Panorama Motor Racing Circuit_.jpeg

I hardly ever drive the trucks in the game, why not give it a spin down under? It handles like a truck (go figure) even with the stiffened suspension, but it pulls.

Nürburgring Sprint_.jpeg

The Ioniq seems to only be fun for me tuned to the max. Unfortunately it costs more than the car itself to max it out. I do wish I can use it for endurance races but sadly there's no quick chargers in the pits.

Circuit de Sainte-Croix - B_.jpeg

The W196 R is the most fun in a car I've had in a while. I've used it in a few races (really really fun and fast for the Le Mans 700 grind). Slap the turbo on it and it qualifies for the turbo races. Just throws itself into the corners.

Suzuka Circuit_.jpeg

Yeah, ok I cheated a bit with this one. But MP4/4 at Suzuka is hard to resist. Not the easiest to drive MT with a controller. Still a good time though once you master it.

The tickets disappointed me. I got a stroke up S for the Toyota S-FR Racing (a car I do not own nor do I want unless its a prize) and the VGT Nissan GTR. I'm sure the car is fine to drive but man, talk about an uninspired prize.
