Great - just the sort of great race idea that I was hoping for! I will agree a poster with you and put it as one of the first posts so it gets maximum attention.

We haven't even launched the GTP Classix yet and already Dr Driftman is doing regular meetings and getting busy rooms - I am hoping it will be a big success!

I had some public testing tonight and had loads of fun. Thanks for all who joined 👍

I will continue hosting this fridays at 7pm GMT. Doing 10min races at different locations. Feel free to join and exit how it suits your schedule.

Possible cancellations will be notified here few day in advance.

Next weeks races will revisit tonights practice locations:

Motegi East/West
Nurburgring D
Tsukuba
Cape Ring South
Redbull Short

After that by common request or vote.

Not really. There is a PP/BHP/Weight limit that's it 👍

I am thinking I do not want to penalize skill in tuning or driving. I would like the tuning to be realistic and cool (sounds, rear slip) for the theme.

Any downtuning is completely optional. Meaning if you are 1sec faster than others, you can reduce power or add weight but it is completely optional and decided by you.

I might say something about wings and less than 90% Limitter values but as basic rule anything goes. It's Virtual Track Day! 👍

I was thinking tuesday same time as alternative or additional day. I can start lobby both days and see which if not both gather some crowd 👍

I am in the Pontiac and it was really so close with bob briefly and some Spanish dudes who hopefully join again

I might enable the ABS if that becomes an issue. There is no way to limit tuning and I would prefer people use Standard brakes (updating first post). All the cars I have tested do not need and probably did not have ABS.

Just a quick reminder, tonight there will be some 2Close4 Racing from 7pm GMT.

Lobby will be up from 6:30pm GMT, first 45 min or so being tuning and testing. First Sprint should start at about 7:15pm depending on how people's tunes are ready.

Join when you can, just drop by to try it out, or stay for the duration

Lobby will close at around 9-10pm GMT.

Lets hope half the people of the globe are not upgrading their OSX's and iOS's and are instead queueing in front of Apple stores freeing us a clean tube of bandwith

I'd also want to get in on this but the time difference makes it impossible, if races were on weekends I would totally be in the gird. Have fun, drive fast and take chances.

It was fun. Could actually finish two races at the end dueling with the Spaniard Enjoyef the other races too as long as they lasted for me.

US guys, let me know a suitable time I am still in process of finding a time slot for this 👍

Most times on the weekend would be fine for me however weekdays would need to be at least 8 BST for me to participate which is probably too late for you guys
