This week's races are cancelled. Sorry for late notification. Picking up better half from airport tonight and company party on friday. I might have lobby up sometime during weekend. Join if you can 👍

Due to changes in life, I am stopping all weekday GT6 activity.

I like the cars so much I will continue driving them on saturday instead, Sauna fresh, with beer in hand

Hope to see you there for some casual racing 👍

Edit: Times on the first post of the thread

This Saturday will be last time with the '70-89 set of cars. Info about next Reference car will follow soon! It is AWESOME! :embarrassed:

Tune in, Saturday 4pm GMT, 5pm BST, Noon EDT for some Casual Fun.

Lobby will be up in about 30 minutes and the theme will be Morning Glory featuring short tracks that have both variable time and weather. Practice should start at sunrise with some morning rain and continue with a race or two before moving to the next location..

Tracks like:
Brands Short
Nurburgring Short

There were some technical issue including a mass d/c. First one I have witnessed. Too bad just when we started to gather a small crowd. But we managed to get some nice battles 👍

The next Pretuned Reference Car will be :

Mozzi Motorsports Camaro RS
OiLZED.png

529 PP
482 BHP
Full Weight Reduction

It handles surprisingly well with CS

Full details coming soonish...

Due to recent lack of time to practice this week I will setup a practice server for Z8CC instead of usual CS racing.

Titled: OoCZ

Out of Comfort Zone!!! (and to the Highway to HELL ... and back!)
This week: 500PP SH at Spa and Ascari
in Support and Practice for Z8 Champ Club

if there is enough time and interest will continue with Nurb and Sierra

You don't have to use the Z8 if you do not plan to join Z8CC 👍

@Cu3e... what's happening with your 2close4 racing? Is it just weekends now or are you running any time in the week?

Not sure yet. Might just fade away or try another timeslot.

It never caught much crowd, to be honest. Also, saturday used to be my usual testing time so I used that for a while but it did not work that well for weekly race. Family matters intervened quite a bit.

If people are interested, I am open for suggestions for new timeslot.

I thought that it was for Classic cars only....

You are not wrong @Harsk100 :) I started with the Shigeno Matchup but I feel the format was too complicated. I might revisit the Matchup concept if there will be a way to limit the detuning... :indiff:

So I went back to basics, Stock cars! :) The concept will be closer to my first club but not limiting to Japanese cars and tracks. More info in the Club forums.

I've been a member since Day 1, but I haven't really learned how the TT's work yet in the Community.
When I looked at it before it seemed complicated. :dopey:

@JockeP22 the plan is in the near future to have some races. I want to see at least 8 active members before scheduling an official event.

In the meantine there are 2 active Time Trials under the Club Events section. One for Tsukuba and one for Brands Indy. These are setup for 2 reasons:

1) So that members get idea of the settings and race style to expect.

2) For me to see the skill level of each driver so I can recommend alternative cars for the faster and slower drivers to slightly tighten the grid. This is completely optional. each driver can make the final decision from a list of tested cars.

My hope for the club is to have a friendly racing experience for toning your Racecraft and maybe get some old and new rivalries on track. All in good fun. All skill levels welcome! For more serious club try the "Stock Real Racing Club" where I plan to participate as well

I had a similar club and it worked fairly well on shorter tracks. This time the goal is to have more range in cars and tracks...

End of rant... And answer to question:

Just go to

Club Events - Rooms - Create New

Or join existing one.... If there is one :)

There are also 2 Practice Races under Events. One-Make with S2K and one with several car options tested thus far:

Mazda RX-8'07,
Honda S2000'06,
Renault Sport Clio'00,
BMW Z4'03,
Chrysler Prowler
(still to be tested)

These cars are not equal so my hope is that faster drivers volunteer to hop in weaker/more challenging (Clio :embarrassed:) car to get a more varied and tight grid :)

This will be most likely the first official race. As the format is Sprint Race there will probably be 2-3 tracks per event. So these will be Tsukuba, Brands Indy and one more track to be decided soon.
