The teams are just for here, it's nothing to do with the teams in F1:CE. I introduced it because it makes it more interesting to race as teams rather than just alone. Online in F1:CE restricts each driver to one team and all the teams have equal stats online with no options for setups, so here we are with our own teams.
Driving aids are up to you, no restrictions. Most people around here have a lot of them off though, so be warned, you might be at a disadvantage if you do use them.

I've added you both for Williams, is that ok? You can re-name if the team if you want.

I explained in the post after the starting post. I can't guarantee that I can make it to host and race in every race if at all, so I've offered to organise this for someone else to host the races. I will jump in and drive for any team that needs me when I can but otherwise I won't be appearing.

Races will be set up on a channel with a name & password to be PM'd to drivers prior to race.As far as cars it does'nt matter there all equal online. But you can go ahead & set up your car preferances online on options.

Dubbers , we , me , you , somebody , needs to get with (ANFD) and try get get the list of the rooms that have a history of bad servers that cause lags , disconnects , etc , remember this list ? I think there was about 4 of them if memory serves me right.

Two thoughts came to mind about F1CE racing online,from my experience.

About the pitstops , some tracks you can stetch it out to only making 1 stop in a 20 lap event , other tracks you will be forced to make 2 stops. Are the rules mandatory for 2 pits reguardless of track or just make what pits are only necessary and then just go racing ?

question 2 :

Turn 1 on first lap is and always has been a major league ******* (being nice)at certain tracks,people are always racing to clear for position while 99 % of the time there is a huge melee of cars just going everywhere from all the crashing , will penalties or bans be in effect , on how to handle this fiasco ? You could be perfectly innocent get rammed from behind , forcing you into another car , ie --- the chain effect , does everybody have to stop and wait for re-spawn from others , or just go reguardless of what happens in turn 1 ? Thoughts on this scenario please ?

I think the best way to avoid the turn 1 cluster 🤬, is if you make contact with car in frount of you,a 1 lap penalty will be imposed. Mayby then everyone will have the required caution. Cant win on first lap SO HAVE A LITTLE PATIENCE PLEASE.

Also should be Mandatory 2 pit stops. IMO

Thats fine (I think) LOL , BUT , as you already know , with all the AI cars , real drivers , you just cannot tell what the h*** is going on , you can't read any names to identify who is who , hence the cluster 🤬. and you have to take a 1 lap penaly for somebody elses wrong doing by punting you into another car, thats going to be a rough one to swallow , I really don't know what or how to remedy the turn 1 mishaps to be honest.Not a bad thought Daddy

Anybody else want to pitch in a few solutions or ideas so this can be discussed , so we know how to handle this situation, because it is a bad one.

Dunno if you can get a full grid of real drivers(22) to race on F1:CE online. I think that would make it somewhat easier that counting on the AI to not screw things up entering Turn 1.

Also, would it be possible to put the PSN names by the drivers on the roster for easy reference?

I'm not keen on the whole collisions anyway.

Any race I've ever done online with collisions, someone's just punted me off the track, you then get a penalty for being punted off the track.

It's a disaster zone usually.

My situation is much like yours. I'd love to join a race or two if I can but don't want to commit to anything. I'm currently and for quite some time ahead busying myself with my career mode in this game.

The AI can't hit you, they ghost.

I'd love to do this, but don't have the time to say 'yeah i'll definitely be able to', so i'll have to pass.

Hey guys, just an idea i had for your T1 worries. what if all drivers are to hold their starting positions, untill after T1. Maybe that will give a little more room at the start. JMO.
