^ I like this one the best out of the set. Very striking pic for some reason. 👍
My favourite by far, too. Thanks. 👍

Still from the same roll:

Nikon F80 | Kodak T-max 100

Yo DB! been a few weeks since ive been in here. Still going strong I see :) The night shot on the cruise ship is awesome! Love the vibrant colors in it. Shots in posts #243 and #246 are also nice. I get a really serene and quiet feeling in that shot with the umbrellas.

Yes, Blitz. The vacation stuff is over, but I still have lots of older stuff to post.
Thanks! 👍

Back to some old shots (2011):

Is that the Sigma 30mm? I have one of those and I really like it!

Got it on eBay cheap with a focusing issue (wouldn't focus closer than 3 feet) and sent it off for repair. Now works great! Purchase and repair a little over half the price of new! 👍

Indeed, it is. The next two shot also are (I've just updated the EXIF info).

I honestly think it is the best combination of focal length/aperture for APS-C sensors. It is not as sharp as the more modern Sigmas (the 50, 85 and 35 1.4), but still it does the job very well, and it's an excellent little lens.

Mine is actually for sale right now (since I've sold my D200). Both will be greatly missed.

And another film one, from an older roll:

Nikon F80 | Sigma 50mm f/1.4 | Fujifilm Superia X-TRA 400

Really like the shot in post #255. Great idea and awesome execution. 👍

Thanks. 👍

Looking at it now, I should have shot another one at f/4 or f/5.6, so that the F80 at the back would be recognizable...

And that was actually just the result of being bored in an hotel room one night.
