Finally completed this a couple of days ago, Thanks for everyones advice.
Can somebody friend me and loan me the special packwge. It seems to be the only mazda I dont own. Lol
If you are talking about the '89 then it's available from the New Car Dealership and is really cheap 👍
Oh ok. Will have to get it. These ones are much harder than they should be!
Tried 3 different Eunos Roadsters and never got better than 7th
not sure what ds3 and stick extenders are, followed guide I have 831kgs but only 143hp with 400pp ??Used this package for all. Just adjusted final. London and Eifel hardest (two attempts each). Fun though. Will try CH challenge.

Folks,
I see you guys are getting 150bhp at 971kg and 340pp. I can't find a RX5 that will give me more than 149bhp at 1100kg and 380pp. I am struggling with all races but have won everything except London. I am on GT5 update 2.12. Any ideas? Thank.
Seems that folks are having difficulties with Indy post update as a result of the reversed position on PP. I decided to have another go with my old car to see what changes were necessary just to win the race. So here's an updated tune.
New car (Eunos Roadster NA special package '89) from NCD, No oil change, No aero, Std wheels
All weight reduction except windows ( do not add chassis reinforcement)
Engine stage 3
Racing Exhaust
All suspension, transmission and drive-train upgrades
200 Ballast @ Pos 38 to give 47:53 weight distribution
Engine output 96.4%
150bhp, Weight 1041kg, 380pp
Suspension:
-10 -10
5.8 6.5
4 4
3 3
3 3
Camber and Toe:
2.0 1.5
-0.15 +0.10
LSD:
9/11/8
Brake Bal:
7/6
Gears:
Hit default, set max speed to 112mph (all the way to the left) then set each gear as follows;
1: 3.309
2: 2.528
3: 1.982
4: 1.601
5: 1.335
F: 2.822 ( should give max speed of 160mph)
The final gear setting is for the Indy course only so you will need to dial it back for the other tracks ( see previous post for deatils ) . I've ran the race 4 times and either gain 1st on the back straight in the last lap or as late as the final corner but it's still a comfortable win.
Note: YOU MUST DRAFT! After the first lap the cars split into packs and you must use the draft from each pack to slingshot up to the next to gain the draft again. If you fail to do this it will be a tough win.
Happy racing
Many thanks for the great tune! 👍👍👍
Argon: I drafting on indy and getting 2nd everytime with your tune why?
Hard to say exactly why but here's a post containing a video run through I did a while back that demonstrates how to win at Indy. The car I used had the latest tune and I ran the race using a DS3. If you are a wheel user it should be easier.
Thanks for the video, that helped me alot and with DS3
Edit: anyone got a tune for season event 580PP La Festa Cavallino and all season events b-spec?
You're welcome, glad it helped. Try this post from Oink83 for your Ferrari tune and walkthrough https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?p=7875016#post7875016
With the PP changes in update 2.12, PD really screwed this event up. It was fun taking 350PP cars to these races and just barely winning. Now I am taking 380PP cars and finishing 15 seconds behind the leader. It's like the PP changes affected the car that I enter, but the AI are still on the old, 2.11 PP levels.
Sad.
Yeh, getting a bit fed up with the ease of these events. Got another video for it though as always, perhaps some people will find it useful.
Huge thanks for all the effort you've put in for us, Argon!

After a bit of GT5 break I came back and saw this thread and agree how difficult it is. But not impossible as I am a very average driver.
I got all laps into 1:05 and one into 1:04.9 with a DS3.
I found this car better than the NA '89 for this circuit. As well I used more + toe in the rear to make it easier to control.
Good Luck
You are talking London Reverse or any of them?
