Yeah I don't mind since I wanted to see how it's like. If it wasn't for the hype it'd be a little bit better than "ok". No point in crying about it now since I can't even get my money back for it. I actually like my rig. It's quiet and dependable with water cooled CPU and slow moving fans.

Quiet is something that my rig is not! Definitely a requirement for the next build! 👍

When my new water cooled beast is made you will really see what is eXtreame.

My laptop plays borderlands and TF2 nicely that is all I care about for now.

When are you going to have that done?

Ordered the CPU, RAM cooler, Coolant Tank, SSD and TIM and it was shipped on friday.

Next lot of parts are the Pump, Tubing, CPU water block, Fittings, Coolant, Hose Clamps.

When the GTX680 comes into stock I will get it(been hard since it is out of stock most of the time)

CPU is a i5 3570K.

👍 Nice. Can't wait to see it!

i had my texture quality set to max. yeah, if you Overclock the heck out of your gfx card and cpu (6950's are decent oc'ers), your score should go up quite a bit. I could do 950core/1500memory with my 6950 in 3dmark. i only ran 900/1400 for regular gaming though.

Oh...3DMark...I'll be back in an hour or so, trying to trump chromatic. :D

I'm just curious why it's showing my RAM @ 667MHZ when it's set to DDR1600 in the BIOS. Oo

After my recent test this has sparked a urge to buy another 570 and SLI. Completely unnecessary. :D

Not sure if I need to liquid cool after SLI. The case, silver stone fortress, does a pretty good job at airflow and the CPU has the prolimatech megahalem and keeps that pretty cool and its overclocked. What do you guys think.

There are 3 main reasons to introduce water:

1. You want to cut down on noise.
2. You want to cut down on noise AND keep things cool.
3. You want to keep things cool AND push the clocks further than on air.

Then there's the process of figuring out whether you want 1 or 2 radiators to negate the additional temperature increase that will almost certainly be passed off onto the CPU.
