Here in Austria (Germany has mostly the same prices) the expensive 770s cost more than the cheaper 290s... e.g the Sapphire R9 290 Tri-X OC costs 340€ on Alternate.de, same price as the Gainward GTX 770 Phantom...
Now the question is what brand is in which country under or overpriced

Now that GTX 970 is out, it represents very good value for performance at $329 and is very competitive with the GTX 780 Ti regarding performance and hopefully early next year, 16nm node is available so can nearly half the power consumption and also get GTX 780 Ti performance at more budget gaming card prices. Good times ahead for people looking for big upgrades in GPU performance and efficiency. I wonder what will happen with Kepler cards as they seem very overpriced now.@TB, I wish I could've picked up my card for that much. My GTX 780 cost 500€+/$650+. It's not a reference card, but still...
