although Hemi could have taken it a lot easier into turn 1. I mean, slip stream + cold brakes + cold tyres and braking late = disaster for me.

I'm glad you've calmed down kak but please view the video and you will see I did not charge the corner as I was completely off the throttle way before I applied brakes fully..............and that is why I screwed up plus I was not in you slip stream I will have races where I fill I can fight for the win but this is not one of them so I was just trying to make it through the first couple of corner like everybody else. I will say it again, I'm sorry.

I'm not that bad! There's a glitch on the game which puts you a lap down straight away from the lights I actually finished just before Barrichello which is 6th.

👎 Please don't on the first championship we did it in the rain although I did well it sucked because you can't enjoy what Silverstone is all about which is getting the maggots/becketts/chapel section just right.

But there is so much slip stream round that track it makes it better if at least you have to get the corners spot on to make a good lap time. I think it would be more interesting.

Okay, I get it, you beat me. I didn't know about this glitch, I thought it only happened to polesitters at nurburgring. Now time to put on my Monaco face, and get ready to win, or score points! I am pretty good at Monaco, enough to not qualify at the back, and I can last 20 laps away from the walls.

And due to a lap glitch I got the results the wrong way round for the Lotus drivers, so PJ should have one point less and Crooky a point more. You forgot to update their constructor's total, they should be on 13 points.

Just a warning to everyone for the forthcoming race. Unless we all brake really early (apart from the leading man of course) into Sainte Devote on the first lap, there will be a pretty bad accident. The further back you are, the more speed you will be carrying into the braking zone as it's such a short distance between the start and turn one, so whoever is coming from the back needs to adjust accordingly. It's important to take this into account. I recently did two short practice races and I braked I thought early enough and yet still went straight into the wall, no where near making the corner - it really caught me by surprise and I can only imagine the carnage if that happened in the actual race with people in front of me.

I know that no matter now many times I say this that there will still be an incident, but could we please all bear this in mind when it comes to the race?

As I recall, I did a one stopper last season and that was when I was still using auto gears.

But everyone can, it's not cheating. Your tyres will start to get worn but it's more than compensated by all the time you save making a one stopper. Plus, it could be difficult to prove if someone has only made 1 stop if you've enforced that rule. Monaco could get pretty messy.

What gears you use or shifting you use has nothing to do with it. It's all in your throttle control

I can do 9 laps on most tracks when others cannot. We all start the race with the same amount of fuel, does that mean I'm cheating because I can sacrifice a bit of pace to go a lap or two further? I think they call that strategy

I would actually like it if people could do 2 stops please. All other tracks we do this, and to be honest, strategy can play into it a lot if we can do 1 stops but HAVE to do 2, then you can choose when you want to stop.

Well, seeing as it's the only track where a one stopper is possible, I don't see the problem with doing one stop. I see what you mean in that everyone will be on the same strategy if they do one stop. However, i'm betting there's gonna be quite a few crashes here, with people being out of position, so it'll be pretty impossible to monitor what everyone else is doing. Personally I would vote against 2 stops, but i'll go with whatever the majority is obviously.
