I have sorted February 15th's settings
15thfebruary_zpsd128c237.jpg

Additional lounge/Track settings

Weather at race start 0% changability fixed
Time at start 15.00 (this is the track time setting)Time progression 1
Qualifying will be set to 20 minutes (enough for one out lap and one hot lap)
Grid order slowest first
Boost off
Penalty none (I'm trusting you all to respect the track boundaries)
Tyre/fuel depletion normal
Grip reduction real
Mechanical damage light

Slipstream weak
Nitrous prohibited

My apologies for the late addition of "nitrous prohibited" the original rule set was written during gt5 which didn't have this feature.
What happened with the HEAVY mechanical damage? My car was chosen based on that... I was prepared for the CARNAGE predicted by weescotman...

Fixed

I had to make a call, I'm sorry to disappoint.
I finished over a lap behind last time around. On an 8 minute lap, it got mighty frustrating.

Sadly i won't make this event, which is a killer for me as i love this track. My own fault, didnt think it was time for another graveyard shift for a few months, so didnt put in a early shift request. I have begged to get a shift swap but nobody wants overnight shifts at the weekend, i have now requested all race days off or early shifts. Will be there for the next event promise.

Sounds interesting...

Saturday at three pm in my time zone, perfect timing. How long are the races? And is the Camaro ss '10 able to enter? Not sure if it meets the 2.5 litre thing.

The 2.5 litre restruction was lifted, so you should be ok with the Camaro. The races are approx 40 minutes.

The race should be about 45 minutes. The 2.5 litre thing is one of the very original rules which, it turned out, didn't need to be applied. I just keep it on the op for nostalgia purposes. Although striked through. So your Camaro Should be Ok. Bearing in mind the 5% rule. If my memory serves me correctly you should be fine on that front, but it might be close.

EDIT: Like Ade said

I'm just a little below five percent, and 45 minutes is perfect. I'll find another car for it. Just wanted the Camaro because @ACSR421 made a 500pp tune for one.

I would like to sign up. Until I change my mind, the car will be a '69 vette, painted black with white/chrome wheels, if it matters any.

Edit: Well, 1.04 messed with the vette a litlle bit. I may have to go Ferrari or just suck it up and buy a JDM. I wanted to use a Murican car around here, but I can' t find one good enough.

Re-edit: Can no car here handle nurburgring?

It'll be nice to see a classic 👍

Exactly my feelings sometimes as well :grumpy:

Is there room for a little one :dopey: ?.
I don't see why not. 👍
That will bring us to 13 drivers registered here. However, I do have a couple of drivers who only communicate via psn. I will provisionally close entries for this race until I have feedback from them. I hope any potential new Drivers reading this will understand.

Expect a register to be posted in the next couple of days.

Any car can handle the ring, just got to be gentle and not drive like you stole it lol. Different cars require different approaches, just got to find something that suits your driving skill or is fun to drive, no point taking something that's going to spit you off every second corner.

Well, I glitched the game, so if you want to get down to it...

The problem is every tune I've tried hasn't been updated since the latest game update, so they're messed up.

There's your problem, glitch in will mess it up, and there are plenty tunes for 500pp in the tuning forum for gt6.

I only glitched the money, it in no way affected the gameplay.

And yes, there are, but most of them were ruined by PDs latest update, where they messed with the tires and stuff.

Anyway, I have a thread open, and got some suggestions for later.

If it's not too late, I'd like to register. Appreciate you've posted that you have provisionally closed registration so understand if I'm too late @CTR Driver
You were on my "currently handwritten" list anyway 👍
Change of plans on the vette, now I'm in a white Subaru STI '10.
That's a shame, I was slightly curious as to how well a "classic" would measure up to some of the more modern cars that feature.

Well, it would be fine if that tire update didn't screw it up. I would have loved to use it, but it can't quite come up to snuff with the tune I have.

Hello guys! I was reading the rules to be well prepared for the race this saturday, and I saw this one: "All driver aids are allowed". My question for you: even the "Skid Recovery Force" is allowed? I can understand all the others. They are really useful for those guys that are driving with the PS3 controller, but the "Skid Recovery Force", as well as the "Boost" option, give an unfair advantage for those that will use it.

Srf is allowed but boost is off.
Regarding the use srf, I want people to determine if they need to use it on an individual basis, and be responsible in that use.
Sometimes I think I would Use it based on the performance of some of the guys in the club. I don't Use it, because I know I don't need to. And other people shouldn't let their desire to win override using any means necessary.

My best is 8:02 using a Capt_d suspension. But I'm sad to admit I ruined it and am having to try and do it on my own. Otherwise my best is 8:20 but with 2 or 3 spins/crashes/excursions off track.

Got a couple of cars to test, one's faster but trickier to handle, the other more stable but not quite as quick.
Haven't tried either of them around the 'ring yet so I'll try to get on tonight and put some laps in,I'll put times up if I do.
