Right. I've got word from my electric company. My power is out and the next time I will get an update is 19.00. I've asked Gtp_Ade to host in a public lobby and post the lounge number in this thread.

OK racers, Gary has asked me to help out. As he has said above, I will host in a public lobby. I will open this lobby at 8.00pm GMT, and post the lobby number in here.

Alright, my car is decided. It's one of the slower ones, but this is about the only place I'll get to use it, so I'm fine with last place if it's much slower than everyone else.
 
My internet is screwing up. If it doesn't sort itself out soon. The signal is weak, the only place I can get ot right now is next to the router.
 
Sorry guys something came up at work and I had to go in for a couple of hours. Had a decent RX-7 that I ran a 7:40 with. Have fun, I'll definitely try to make the next one if there's room.

Couldn't even press and hold PS3 button to quit game. Had to reboot PS3!
 
What? My game just froze!

Ah well, I enjoyed what I did race. I was in 11th place. I think lag caused a couple of wrecks.

Exactly what happened to me about 4 minutes in.
 
It's been said that GT6 pushes the PS3 to the limit. Perhaps that might be part of the problem? In any case, I hope you enjoyed what you did take part in.

Thanks everyone for coming tonight. It was a last minute change of room ownership, due to Garys power problems. I chose to exit the race at the start of lap 4, I wasnt doing any good, and thought that I would try and capture some of the racing for Gary instead. Got some good footage of Theewar and Cobanis last lap battle, and Goodwold vs Capt.D vs TehLotus. Not sure where the rain came from at the end, it wasnt in the programme.
 
I had a blast today. This was the first race where I actually had a fight for position. Unfortunately, lag on either my end or theirs caused two major wrecks that I was involved in. And then the game froze, ending my race fairly early in.

Looking forward to next Saturday, can't wait to hear the next track.

The next race is on March 22nd. 500pp club is a monthly run event. Theewar has track choice for the next race.

Big Thanks to the 500pp Club and also to GTP_ADE for putting on tonights race event.I went for the safe option with the RX-7 Spirit R Type A (FD)'02 ,to give it its full name.Its not a very fast car esp at the top end,but really good at the bendy bits on SH tyres.Thanks to everyone who took part and I look forward to meeting you at the Next one.:cheers: .O and to Cobani :bowdown: that was a Very Nice thing you Did...

Yeah you were lagging a lot when we had our accident. Later when we got left behind and you moved out of the way you were fine.

It's this stupid weather. Georgia got hit by an earthquake. That hasn't happened for a long time. Plus all this ice, rain, and snow we've been getting from our neighbors up north.

But anyway, I apologise for any accidents I caused.
 
Oh, it's shaping up now. But we're kind of famous in the South for the whole "Five minute flood" thing, so you never know.

One thing you can bet on, we'll never get a blizzard. It stays hot most of the time. This year dared to be different.
