Something that may turn into a trial by fire for 2 hours for me soon. Any tips?Yeah, it's my virtual rally experience that helps me a lot in these situations. You keep it cool and once you figure out how to deal with it, you push even more than before. Never quit!
Still, I can't remember that I have ever driven a damaged car for 40 minutes straight. Nice little achievement for me.

Well done to Third Reign for the win, looking forward to seeing what car and track you pick for the next one.I never understood why a driver of your calibre would pick 4wd,however that is now put to bed with your win...
Thanks!
I chose the Evo because it was a lot slower than my usual go-to favorites like the RX-7, 370Z, NSX, RGT and M3. The 4wd was a PP handicap in the past(GT5) and would usually become a real handicap in later race stages due to strong front tyre wear. Turns out I found some settings that made the EvoX a blast to drive, I could oversteer into the turns and then just ride out the 4wd on exit and full throttle. I didn't expect it to be so much stronger in to be honest.
My next pick will most likely be a Silvia, S15 or S13. For track choice I'll have to double-check past events and find something fun.
So that's how its done then All I need from you @Third Reign for the time being is a location for the next race.Congratulations TR!!! 👍👍👍
I found out the same thing about 4WD cars in GT6. You can brake later, slide in and when the tyres grip again, you can push with full throttle and just launch yourself out of the corners.
Sort of the best of both worlds? Now what do Honda do that's 4wd, do I fancy trying an odyssey?@CTR Driver well you don't have to be that much careful as with RWD or precise as with FWD.
You were there in zero cup. I will get the graphics updated. So my track choice is the Senna-DLC Monza circuit (can't remember the year). I really like the implementation of the first chicane there. My other contender was Ascari, but I have a vague memory of being there recently, might have been a different series thought.
Not too late. I'll just have to start over with laps and graphics, so it will take longer than it already has.I hope it isn't too late to change my mind about the track choice. Seeing as a new track appeared by surprise today, I think it might be neat to chose the A1 Ring instead of old Monza.
I'm forever stuck with the name A1 Ring, I've had the pleasure to watch a F1 race there once. Plus I try to avoid any advertisementNot too late. I'll just have to start over with laps and graphics, so it will take longer than it already has.
When you say A1 Ring, which of the new additions is it? Just so I don't end up using the wrong one.
:EDIT: You mean the full GP Red Bull Ring. Just read the news section and it was spelled out for me.
Maybe. But it is more luck than skillGary ... you can Drift but it's very difficult with the wheel ...
Yeah, sorry again...and you did take me out ...
I look forward to it
There is no preference. If you have one you can use it, if you want. Are headsets mandatory, preferred or forbidden?
.
I'd be willing to if everyone else is happy. I know theewar and weescotman will be busy with the le mans 24 hour. It just depends on who else is intended on turning up. What time is kick off in relation to the normal race times?Anyone against moving the race start forward? I'm sure I'm not the only one wanting to see the consolation final tomorrow.
I bet you hear hat can happen in 15 minutesIf I open the room early and aim for a 20:15 qualifying start. You should only miss the first 10-15 minutes.
Again, I can work with that.I bet you hear hat can happen in 15 minutes
We had one guy go grab a drink for a few guys in the round. He was so P.O.'ed when he missed 2 goals.
I guess we'll see how many decide to show up, if its only a few drivers we could shorten the race in worst case scenario.
