This chrome silver muscle car (El Camino SS) could only get 'silver' medal.

That's why I used my gold colored M3 '04. And because it was my only 500 PP FR car with comforts. With TC off it slides just a little, but controlable. It just couldn't get out of corners as fast as I would like it to, but it was enough for gold. Easy 1.1 million credits, a nice car I didn't have yet and 2 awesome paint colours.

How could I painted it wrongly with silver, should be gold colour like your M3.

It's not my tune, it's a mix of others tunes and my own bits and usually by the time I get to this stage I don't know whose is whose. Hopefully I will not upset anyone by posting the settings I am using.
I add that I was about 3 tenths in front of Nowcontrol but I just fired the game up and I see he has changed to the Series One and I only lead him now by 3 hundredths of a second, so I strongly suggest you ask him for a tune also.
I would be interested in comparing our tunes too, obviously. I haven't actually raced today and I'll post my tune before I do so I won't know where his may be superior.

Power Limiter 96.9 ... Max power 322hp. .. All power standard except Catalytic Converter Sports.
Power to weight 3.18.

Weight Reductions all. Ballast 18kg @ -37. Downforce (rear wing) @15. ..Weight 1,024. dist' 51 - 49.

Yes 'dgrtd', I'm not finished with this one either, plenty of things to try yet. I'd be interested in seeing what tune Nowcontrol is using, perhaps he'll post it too, if it's not a private one.

I have not been told that this has happened to anyone else. Uninstall the fc transmission, reinstall it and reset to default. It should work fine then.

1'28.6 for 40th place.

A low 28 is in range if I can find the time to run again.

Never driven this car before since GT5. Although this car is light but it has two illness. Understeer & Oversteer. Maybe comfort tires don't suit it or my tune

I'm going to try that Shelby tune! Got an easy gold with a very basic tune on the VGT Mercedes.

Edited tonight: That tune is really nice! Got as low as 1:31.523 and hit a wall, can't do any better yet. #2400 something makes me happy though. Even my bad laps were good enough for gold. I'm having trouble on the braking for the right had hairpin before you head back up the hill. Gonna have to work on that, maybe a brake bias adjustment.

I ran a 1'28.388 this morning not long after my time on the board just after 6am and the PSN was down... I left my ps3 turned on to update it later and went to sleep and my PS3 had switched itself off by the time I woke up 👎

After a quick 70 minute session I managed a sloppy 1:28.142 using a modified version of @Dalone 's tune for 12th place. 1:27.8 seems to be my limit if I can hook a lap together.

I got fed up with my set up being erratic in the finale chicane so I tried out your set up Roweer1... Thanks for sharing 👍

Got a 1'28.201 after a little adjustment to suit me, adjusted the front ride height a bit higher to 104 and reduced the rear downforce to 18 and give it a bit more slide at the chicanes 👍 Everything else is as you posted... Great set up and the gears are spot on 👍

Improved to a 1:27.883 for 4th place. Was a tenth behind my best sector 1, a 29.330, but came back with solid final sectors. 1:27.6 is possible. Will keep pushing and close the gap between me and Wolf.
