FTO from expert level race? I tried it and had 1:42 time with it :/ Is it because of tune? I tried someone else's tune for it but it didn't work :(
Yes from expert Level Race.
With my Mitsubishi FTO Super Touring Car tune I did 1'34'xxx.
With my Toyota TS030 Hybrid '12 tune I did 1'33'xxx.
With my Nissan Zytek Z11SN Greaves Motorsport '13 tune I don't remember but I had gold easily.
After I am not the best pilot here.
Maybe some do better than I with my tunes.
One pilot said he managed to get gold with my Subaru Impreza GT300 Base Model '08 (reduce power) but I don't try it.
After I think the best car for this expert level race is the 2j '70 but I do not like personally.
Good luck @Barbara_K .

Golded with the Z11SN earlier today, but I found this track too technical for my taste. I won't retry it for faster lap time.

Drive a couple sessions today, Using 50%+ ballast feels the best for me. I think i can make a 123.3 time.. Still fun this one.

This trial seems just like 2j-palooza, i try with the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X Rally Car and successfully beat the trial!!!!

This can't be a record beater car, but is very funny to ride.

I don't play this game much, but I recently got a used 60gb ps3 that I did some thermal paste replacement and IHS removal to put new paste in and took a crack at the seasonal events. I used the only racecar I have, the mobil 1 nsx I won from the other seasonal event (deep forest raceway).

Anyways, was stuck at 1:36.048. Changed the gear ratio and finally got it down to 1:34.433. I don't have a 2J, I wish it was a car u could win, but I might have missed it during the seasonal events. Anyways, it was fun, took about a damn hour or maybe 2 to get that time. Thumb is now sore. Lol

Found a good balance with this setup. Play around with brake bias, weight ballast (46% makes a big difference) and toe angle (particularly front toe) to your liking. This should help those looking for a new 2j setup. I'm not sure how well this will work with active steering, but it should be fine. I'm working on a new setup to crack the top 3, hopefully I'll be up there soon! Good luck!

Thanks for share!:gtpflag:

Give this a try tomorrow. I think i can beat my time with this one. 225 kph sounds fast.👍

This race is totally perverted!
Everybody uses the 2J, and so did I.
But you have to switch down the power limiter to 50% and you're still not down at 550PP, so you have to take onboard a whole lot of ballast too in order to meet the 550 PP's.
And don't you dare changing oil before you start, because then you will have to take on even more ballast to come down to 550 PP's.
It took me hours (if not days) to find out that the 2J becomes quicker and quicker the longer you drive without changing oil but only reducing ballast, keeping the 550 PP's limitation.
Stupid...
And I always thought that the meaning of a Race Car was to be as powerful as possible!?

This event actually a time trial where the objective is to get around the track in the shortest amount of time, it just so happens that a detuned race car is the best car for the job. The 2j detuned is still powerful enough to be the fastest car around that track period.

Best Seasonal for a long time! I've used the FTO Super Touring Car from the Apricot Hill race and it was a blast! 1:35:00 in 3 laps. I love this track, and the car felt amazing... Really pleased.

PS: I always try not to use the usual monster cars, and I think it is funnier this way =).

FTO from expert level race? I tried it and had 1:42 time with it :/ Is it because of tune? I tried someone else's tune for it but it didn't work :(

Just like I said, I did a 1:35:00 with the car completely stock. I've only reduced a couple of BHP to met the 550PP rule.
I think this car without any tune will do a 1:33:XX at least, so my advice to you is practice! And if you are struggeling, go see some replays with that car, and you'll improve immediately...

Great car, and brilliant track!

Are You Using Game Controller or Steering Wheel & Pedals?
Controller/automatic gears and as strong. I have now a 1.23.9 time. I make so much laps to get this time.... I know i can better because i make a couple little mistakes at my lap. But not much.

I use the controller , manual gearbox . 1.27.7 is my time . I can shave 2/3 tenths but it's hard

Thanks to share it and congratulations for tour 2nd place.

Beautiful tune! I had a blast going round Monaco. What was your time? I achieved a 1:33.226 with a very close moment where I broke very late for the Nouvelle chicane. Very stable, gears were good. Nice work

Hello Thomas2012
Frankly I do not know how I did in Monaco .
This is another driver who has tried this circuit. But I would have time to see it Friday. But I'mnot a good driver like you  . Again thank you for having tested

I tried this tune and, proving that the skill of the driver is more important than the tune, managed a lap which was 0.1 seconds slower than my existing tune! This tune proved to be faster over the first half of the lap, but slower over the second half.

Didn't help me downloading your ghost, as you were a car's length ahead of me before the first corner, and out of sight by the time I got up the hill!
