@praiano63 please take your car off share and at least give it an oil change if not a rebuild. I started to test it and after only a couple laps of the road course it was at 599PP. Because of its mileage I thought maybe it was still breaking in so I continued to run it but after a half dozen more laps it was down to 597PP. I want to give your car as well as everyone else's my best, but this is nearly impossible with a car that's changing power on nearly every lap!:irked:

Get in another car, then go borrow his car again. It'll be 600PP again. 👍

I'm not swaping cars every lap of the courses. There is no way to get a good feel for the car and get its best doing that.

The best way is:

Tune the car ,break it in , set it on share and important put it in favorites.

If you put your cars in favorites you can drive it on your own in Arcade Mode while it´s shared (the car doesn´t add miles in arcade)

Thanks but its not my car or its mileage I'm concerned with. I'm trying to test someone else's car for the shootout, but its losing power after every lap or two.

I saw Praiano had the car a bit power limited.
So use the power limiter to put the Power/PP up ;)

Well It's apparantly dropping power by the mile, I'd say Praiano left it on share very close to the 150 mile drop-off mark that comes after oil changes. In fact, I guarantee it, assuming Desperado is correct about power loss.

Still the same issue of having to exit the track after every lap or two and then make changes to the cars tune.
Not trying to be a jerk here but its the tuners responsibility to see that their car is in good working order for the tests.
If I was to be a jerk, I wouldn't have said anything about it, taken the best time I did (despite the car being down 3PP from the 600PP its allowed) and said its his tough luck that lose of power kept the car from its full potential. And yes I'm most likely one of the slowest drivers and run automatic transmission so these things would probably have a greater effect on good drivers using mt.

You can check it how many miles the car has in borrow screen.

I would driving it without caring how much power is lost per lap and take the time after the 10 or something lap testing period.
If the car is not up to date , its not my fault.

Well I'm 100% positive Praiano will change the oil after reading this, so I don't think it's anything we need worry ourselves about.

9 cars updated with final laps at the road course. Final time indicated in dark red.
Very nice and pleasantly surprised to see you got the "Phantom" under 1:28.:D
Good driving keep it up!👍👍

It knocked over a folding lawn chair! Quick call out the national guard! Demand Obama send federal financial aid!:lol:
Seriously though hope you and everyone else comes through with only minor bumps and sorry for my rather odd sense of humor.:D

Just finding the lighthearted side of the storm. ;)
Everything's pretty much untouched here, no idea what the winds were though, just forgot about the table and chairs, I'm amzaed they're even still there!

Is everyone safe? Did the pets get off it alive? Do you need my Government to fly in aid?

More importantly, do you have power to play GT5? You could win a helmet and suit in a few hours. ;)

Hi, i was out for a few hours, when i click only 1 point more on the limiter ,i pass to 601 pp , if i do an oil change , with 600 pp i'm just 554 hp in the way of 557. so it don't change anything. Ok ,continue like this, no problem for me, it will not be very significative for the time anyway.
It' s fine like this.
Thanks to advise me.

Okay amigo I'll do my best.👍👍

I made a 47.217 lap with my tuned car on the oval. The tune is not likely to go any good on a road circuit though. I wll test after I get some sleep.

I take it that is with an Enzo at 600PP on racing mediums?

Heres my setup if its not too late sorry.

Test drive result // total points= 91 pts / 100 pts

Max speed on starting line: 300 km/h = 186,4 mph =10 pts

Low speed corner:
Entry: 9 Middle: 10 Out: 8
Comments: very responsive, can’t accelerate early out of corner due to light oversteer.

Medium speed corner:
Entry: 9 Middle: 8 Out: 8
Comments:good entry, stable under brake ,in long corners need to take care with throttle in the midle and out corner, nasty oversteer when you want to push too much, just maintain the speed .

High speed corner:
Entry: 10 Middle: 10 Out: 9
Comments: good grip, easy to place on driving line, just control with throttle with precison.

Congratulations do Praiano.

Sitting watching the ambers fade away from the camp fire after telling ghost stories with my wife and my girls :). Realized the shootout was going on and decided to check in. My family car doesn't seem to have the punch I was hoping :( great times by everyone so far and I hope everyone is enjoying the competition so far. Can't wait to see what the testers think of mine and the other tuners cars! Having fun?
