The Olympics. I got pretty in to it, too.

I definitely went in to work late at least twice and my reason was 'curling was on.'

They sent me to a desk and forced me to fill out paperwork all day.

Eh. Shakira wasn't my boss at the time - instead, it was some guy.

You know, baseball is really starting to grow on me. Heh, I even dugout(haha) the ole MLB 2000, and started a season. Guess what? I'm the Red Sox.:D

I've played that, and thought MLB was better.:P Did you too, just kick the **** out of the Devil Rays?:haha:

Yes, a couple times.

It gets boring beating everyone 10-0 all the time though. Even on the hardest difficulty.
Yes. That's true. MLB is a bit harder than that though. I win 8-1, 9-2......:D

Ok, we understand that you don't like baseball (if anybody here doesnt understand the f1 doesnt like baseball, go read his thread in the baseball forum).

i don't care if like baseball or not.

But i like it.

so, shut the **** up and go complain about something else, preferably on another forum.
yeah tell that FAG

hey the 600 was awesome.
i saw in the news like 600 times.
and barry still playing realy great after that he look like nothing happen.

but what you have to say about samy sosa
he is the only one player who made 60+ hr in 3 or 4 years straigh.
and that is another MBL big record.
the bottom point is now they gonna start another strike and sosa
won't be able to keep he's history and that numbers anymore.

i wanna see to barry breaking this record is long way until that but i don't care i wi'll wait.

oooooh like THE BIG MAC M.M
i don't think so.
can you tellme how b.b after a lot of seasons he is better tham b4,he are realy using that.
samy have a lot of seasons playing realy good, the last years he was awesome.

Well, I have no idea what record you're referring to; Babe Ruth's single-season home run record was broken in 1961 by Roger Maris; it was broken again by both Mark McGwire and Sammy Sosa before being broken by Barry Bonds last year (making your point moot anyway).

Sosa had one corked bat - one - and it's not too hard to believe that he was telling the truth about that it was his BP bat.

Psst, 714 career home runs.

...was broken by Hank Aaron; the record's 755. Is Barry Bonds trying his hardest for second place or something? What the hell am I missing?

None of these records will matter when Alex Rodriguez and Albert Pujols are done playing.

Rodriguez, yes, if he stays healthy and in the AL central because they couldn't find a good team if it bit them in the eye. Pujols isn't as good as he's cracked up to be and he never will be.

No, Pujols is the real deal. He wouldn't have a shot at the triple crown this late in a season if he wasn't. I give him about a 15% chance of winning it, so I don't think he will either, but he still has a chance this late, that means something.
