Ok here is my time from my first session. Not as fast as a few of my single laps but it was 6 wreck free laps. Hard to be consistent on this track.

jmillheiser GSXR-600 RM #22

combined total time: 6'42.502 (edited to remove lap 1 time)

individual lap times:

1'20.115
1'19.873
1'19.676
1'20.136
1'22.576 (near miss on this lap but didn't wreck)
1'20.241

I will try a couple more sessions before the end of the week to see if I can improve my time.

edit 1: yes you can cut T4 on the concrete

edit 2: my best single lap is a high 1'18 so far but couldn't string 6 wreck free laps around it.

I've condensed your last three posts into the first post - please use the 'Edit' button rather than posting multiple times 👍

Guys, remember to save replays and/or screenshots for any disputes later in the series. I'm going ot put down a few laps today and see what i can get. I've run 1:18:3xx, but i'm aiming for stringing 1:19's together.

Looking good guys, just keep posting here.

ALSO: Try to post your final time just once. If you feel like you can still do better, don't post yet. Makes it a lot easier for me when I need to compile.

Warm up - 1:18.254
Lap 2 - 1:17.987
Lap 3 - 1:18.044
Lap 4 - 1:17.784

Great times sync!

I've just bettered my time but can't match all those 1.17's. Don't think I can pull out anything better without pulling my hair out first, I've edited my orginal post with my final times and a screenie.

On a sidenote - it seems there are a lot of people on this message board from Canada...

My times using the Ninia zx-6r #55:

test lap : 1.23.145
lap 1: 1.22.801
lap 2: 1.20.578
lap 3: 1.24.693 fall exiting 2nd tunnel
lap 4: 1.22.223
lap 5: 1.23.549 fall turn 1

total: 6:53.844 :grumpy: this does not count the test lap just 1-5.

Hopefully next week track is not as bumpy as Deep Forest.👍

Deep Forest is not an easy track to tune for. I have found a suspension setup that semi-works but still get thrown all over the place by the bumps. Tried taking some damping out but that killed my corner speed on the smoother parts of the course, adding damping made it unridable, seem to have had the best results by leaving damping alone and playing with the preload settings.

Cant wait for a smoother track. I also tried the other 4 available bikes, the ZX-6, 600rr, R6, and daytona all run pretty much even with the gixxer.

 damn good times sync, you must have found absolutely perfect suspension settings

Thank's for the compliments, but the race is no over yet. I manage a single lap in 1:17.2xx. It's still possible that someone can pull together 1:17 for the 5 laps.

I didn't notice lot's members are from Canada. (Go team Canada!) this one is very funny :sly:

I start to practice on Laguna Seca too. And i'm having big troubles with this track.

My final time with the Daytona 650.

1. 1'19.711
2. 1'19.056
3. 1'19.019
4. 1'18.509
5. 1'19.360

Combined Lap Total: 6'35.655

As much as I like driving cars on Deep Forest, can't say that I will be sorry to be moving on :sly:

it's because you converted your time to minutes, but not seconds.
So your time was 6min + 0.74277 minutes, and .74277 minutes is 44.5662 secconds :)

really struggling to get 5clean laps, have a habit of clipping the grass at the esses, 4clean laps and screwed the 5th:( , doing 1:18's ,having your bikes gearing set to what ever the maxspeed you can achieve helps the laptimes, 160mph is all im reaching, and keeping it in a higher gear out of the corners helps too. my fastest lap is now a 17.9, must get 5clean laps before closing time.

Damn, i was too close to sync...great job from what i see everyone :)

sync
Total : 6:29.394

i really dont like deep forest to race in a comp like this. what i do like it for is to have fun. i can not wait to get on a better track for racing competition where more people are better. great job again all.

it'll be no points for me first round, give up trying to get the 5 laps without falling off on one of them or clipping the grass, its the landing at the jump going into turn 1 that does it to me everytime, fine everywhere else, could take it easy but thats not the point.

Forgot to write down my first warmup lap...

Lap #1 - 1:17.995 - All went down from here :-)
Lap #2 - 1:19.112
Lap #3 - 1:18.210
Lap #4 - 1:20.980 - Almost went down coming out of the tunnel :-)
Lap #5 - 1:18.105

That comes out to 6:34.402? Can someone check that for me plz. Thanks!

Thats too bad pmc40, I know I kinda worked out a system where I found the right braking point so that I wouldn't go swirly and miss the corner, but I wiped it quite a few of my tries...

I didn't have that much time to practice before i set my laps. I'm having a hard time running consistently. Here are my times from my replay.

Lap 1 1.19.998
Lap 2 1.18.947
Lap 3 1.19.223
Lap 4 1.19.647
Lap 5 1.19.763
Lap 6 1.19.402

Total 5 laps: 6:36.982

Be great if someone could total my laps together. I gotta go back to editting my term paper. Thanks!
