Here's my settings for the Nomad Diablo. I run all my race cars with stock power and weight, this one didn't even have an oil change thanks to the PP limit. No transmission flip either. Tune is for a DS3 using ABS=1, TC=1, on RH tyres:

I ran about the same laptime as your 2J, but with a scruffy lap. I'm also not an alien, so it has a bunch more speed in it, but that means it isn't too nervous. You have to trust that the sharp turn-in will settle into something that's easy to control. Good luck!

@spikyone I must have run about 15 laps with the Nomad Diablo and the best I can get out of it is a 2:02.786 which is a good Silver.👍 I can't explain why though. I could almost keep up with my ghost line until the end of the long straight, but going through that left is where I lose it. The car handles quite well though. Since I'm not a tuner I don't know where it could be tweaked to run faster unless I do a trans flip, which I'll try. If that doesn't work then I'm sure I'll find another opportunity to use it and hopefully I can make it work for a gold as 600PP laps or races are common. I am very grateful for your input and assistance.

Oh the pain....like doing a good lap (for me) of 1.47.559 and seeing those space invaders going even faster. Used Hotsaucer's tune which is great with Max Pain's gearbox. Now if FordLaser has a bit of a holiday I might stay in front for a little while.:mischievous:

1:56.823 now with a couple of changes - new ride height and damper settings in the edited quote above. Starting to think the Diablo will do a 1:55.xxx, having screwed up both Degners and Spoon on that lap. Getting a clean lap is the hard part...

Tried uploading my lap to pornhub... but they don't allow rape.

Slipped down to pos #50, not that I am complaining about that too much.
I often leave up to 3 tenths on the track so I know a good one will improve my position if I can get it all together.
And clearly it's not the lack of a good tune, we are lucky to have some beauts posted, it's just doing it right.
Still time to improve but tomorrow I might try the other race for a change.

1.45.9 something but no more sitting for hours trying to find a tenth. But I swear these time trials improve your skills over time. Went and did the first 3 club races of the year and smoooked em. They normally smoke me.
I agree - I've found that the TTs have helped me with the QMs, I think that the QMs have helped with the TTs too. It's all good practice!

… but no more sitting for hours trying to find a tenth.

I feel the same way but today after watching my replay a few times I drove again. I was thinking, alright he said no more sitting for hours for a tenth. 10 minutes into it I almost dropped a tenth. .097 faster.

1:45.802 now.

Drove for another 30 minutes marveling at how I did it. Couldn't keep up. Done with it for the day… maybe, for now.
