Did I tell you how much I hate these time trials? For once I'd like to get through a lap without cussing.

Now at position 40032 in the world rankings. Fastest time still 2:10.675.
Damn you all with your fast times.

Well that's it for me.

Edit: On the brighter side I'm just now noticing there are at least a couple thousand people with lower rankings than me. Now I don't feel so bad after all.
Hey man I'd like to help you get faster than that any way I can.You have to really love this game to keep at it like this.So what tune are you using again? Also if you like, add me on PSN.Big plus If you have a mic so we can chat and maybe I can see what your doing wrong.

omg,I LOVE that Subaru S206,I cant get it below 2,08 but its such a BLAST to drive on that course....
I`ll give you suggestions a shot later...

no joy in mudville yesterday I could not break my time of 2.05.783 with the zz,kept getting loose and touching walls, searching for a tighter tune right now, with more turn in,still getting a little too much front end push for my comfort.

What I find with awd cars at bathurst, too much rear torque bias makes you slower on the downhill sections, which is where some serious time can be made under brakes. From skyline into the dipper if it's settled, you can get through there very fast, power on out of the dipper before the apex and 100% flat until you hit the braking area for forests elbow.
I also found that holding 4th gear on throttle through Sulman park/ reid park complex was much faster than upshifting into 5th and backing off until you hit McPhillampy Park. you unsettle the car by working the Front LSD into and out of Accell/ Decell. Left foot brake if you need wash a little speed or tighten your line, but you have to be smooth

Thanks for the offer bro. And yes I do love the game.
As for the tune I'm using I've used a couple tunes including GT_Rajman's tune.

If it's a track or car or combination of both you're not familiar with just keep lapping,
Use the slow in, hit your apex and accelerate out strategy to get the lines smooth and consistent before you start pushing.
Then you can try a section at a time and push harder for that section until you find the edge.
Don;t try and do fast laps on your first run. you'll find the harder you try, the slower you go.

Thanks a million to gt_rajman for the Corvette '60. Using ur Super Tune I've made it to Top #20 (thousands). Gold is enough, can never dream of below 2mins using Controller.

Just, what I don't understand is Where is the Enormous Red Bull Like Downforce coming from - it's Full Throttle down the hill with Devils ;)

Item the first: I love the GTPlanet community. ^_^ I was having trouble with this event, but got Gold handily with the suggestion of the Nissan 2020 VGT. However...

Item the second: only when I took the Nissan 2020 out did I realize I could equip Sports Softs.

Prior to that, I had tried taking the HKS CT230R out, as well as a few Lambos, and was still in want of about eight seconds, give or take.

I don't think Sports Softs could make *that* much of a difference... could they?

Awesome Time. Are u human?

Yes:nervous:, I'm not so good though. This is pure training. anyone can put this time.

Practice is the key. I can make a low 1:56 .but then everything got to be perfect (for me).
Believe me: I'm not a fantastic driver. This is the result of hours of training on 1 track.

After over a week, I have finally found that 0.1 of a second to get me below 1.59.......

I think the main problem was that I spent too long in the GTR at the recent Bathurst QM, couldn't get used to the lower grip, and reduced corner speed of the ZZ11.

Unlike some, I do like the ZZ11 - find it a nice car to drive.

However, I have also now worn my steering wheel out - has got an inch of play in it now! Replacement ordered today.

Kossie works really hard at it

You got it, This is it. couple hour in a day. with a controller and AT gears.

I know i can drive a 15:600 lap and i dit it but i hit a wall..... So frustrating then. The lap after i got the 1:56 lap.

I'm still the proudest of I've put AS off. With on I sure got a 1:56 previously. But now I get it: It's more fun with AS off. This helps me alot for other tt's because its even faster if you do it right.

Very True. we can still sleep at night. #1 and #2 can't sleep checking the ranking every 5 mins..

The hard to spot fake controllers are a big problem as they're poorly made and will make you worse at the games as the sticks are not perfectly linear when moving them and this makes driving and shooting games much harder. For example i'm usually pretty good at both genres and was using a fake someone had accidentally bought and I was terrible :P Bad times on racing and always dying on shooters, just doesn't quite point where you want it to.

Lots of web pages about to help you spot fakes, like if the '3' on the 'dualshock 3' on the top ends right where the usb starts to recess you've got a genuine most likely. The click when pressing the sticks on a fake is also very loud and sounds more like a clink, on a genuine the stick doesn't move very far down when pressed, is a bit quieter and lower pitch. Though this one is hard to test without a fake there to compare it to.
