620pp supercar festival

The paydays for this event are pretty high when you factor in the bonus for lower PP. Even second place bumps up things quite a bit. Since the used cars are generally pretty cheap and I've got all the expensive new ones, I'm faced with what to get doubles of. As soon as a 2J comes around again, that will be one I'll grab but I'm stumped about what else to pick up. Lots of Gallardos and Miuras and Ferraris. Do you guys just keep it at 20 million when you've got enough cars? (How the heck can there be soooo many Miatas?)

Juat finished it with my trustworthy SLS AMG with 609pp.love the race very much.for me,this seasonal event is the best.

I agree on both accounts. Such a wide range of supers and exotics to choose from. Ferrari 599, Ford GT, Enzo and of course the SLS AMG are some of the best fun.

For me, the hammer and tongs battles for second place are the most thrilling, in a car that will garner over 800,000 for 2nd! Also, I've got pretty much 2 or 3 of EVERYTHING, in various tunes and colors. People complain about the # of Skylines, overlooking the fact that every GTO/3000GT, RX-7, Impreza, and yes Miata are in here too?

Couldn't agree more Fahmip91 & the SLS is a damn good lookin' car, could watch the replays over&over.

I used the HPA Audi and got 2nd in a couple of these. It's 573 PP and handles like a dream. I expect someone here could grab 1st.

Did Eifel at 517PP against Corvette ZR-1 field. Payout was 2.1M give or take. In Chappy 2D.

The 2J doesn't go as low. Probably could beat that field at lower PP.

Gotta watch out for the guys spinning out near the bottom of the hill.

what the less pp use to get more CR ?

i mean this event need max cars in 620pp limited

if you use car less 570 pp you get more cr or not

what the low pp to get more Cr in 620 pp and for any seasonal event ?

if need 620 pp Decreases 50pp Equals 570pp you can get more cr if you less than

570pp or not ?

but if you low pp need become professional driver and race to win no need top speed

Has any one tried it in the V8 Vantage?
im curious of what will happen.

Lol, try it and see then. Remember tho, curiosity is what killed the cat, lol. If you are not a cat, then I guess you have nothing to worry about, lol. Good luck and let me know how it turns out for ya.

I discovered that AWD cars don't make any difference when cutting the track, so I bought a Mazda RX-8, tuned to the max, except for turbo, and it was significantly faster than Evo VIII at the same PP level. It's only a shame it sounds terrible, because it can rev to 10,000 RPM!

Haha, im gonna try it but i dont really trust the car as mutch as lets a: SLS,458,LFA.
But i will let you know what will happen.:)

Trying different cars now. Won the Eifel again with a Miura at 575PP. Beat the Ferrari as lead car group. Almost won the first try but the F knocked me out on the 3rd lap. The Miura handles better without weight reduction but it's still a fun car to drive. Under 600 PP it seems to be a decent drive.

Haven't seen anyone mention the Citroen GT race car. Crushes the opposition in 620pp mode, can easily beat them with pp under 590. Yet to go below that, but I will.

Suzuki GSX-04 at Eifel 111. Fun car to try, easy to win using sub 500pp.

The key is to start high & twiddle down pp & aids. By then the track should be memorized. Choose the correct lineup & wins should get easier as you lower PPs. 20mil in no time...

I seem to be attracted to concept cars as this mainly all I seem to be using. Any excuse to experiment eh? Happy Racing Ya'll !

I've been enjoying trying it with stock road cars. I've won so far with the stock aventador, the viper acr, and the Lexus lfa (though that had a racing exhaust). Plenty of credits to be had.

Finished all the events which gave me enough credits to buy the Miura (finally).

Totally worth the destruction of my SLS. I'll buy a new one though ahaha.

UPDATE

Eifel - Suzuki GSX-R4, 460pp, 286,460-exp, $-2,929,919-$

Working it down to 455 to 450pp. Time goal 7:51, 7:50.

Easiest lineup so far: Ford GT & Ferrarri 1 & 2 at start.

Go easy on the upgrades to the Miura, depending on which race you want to use it in. I kept one pretty much stock and upped the PP of the other one for these races. It's at 575PP now but I wish I'd left it at less. It handles worse now than before. Enjoy it! It is a lot of fun to drive. I won the Eifel event in it last night in this seasonal. What a kick that was.

Best for me was the Furai, then VW Nardone, Mclaren F1, Corvette Z06 '04. Hardest track was SS5, always seemed to be a faster car in front another 12 sec away. finally got it with only the Jag 220 leading.

lap Times to beat ( can vary quite a bit)

Grand Valley : 1:58
SS5 : 1:26
Indy : 1:36
Fuji: 1:43
Eiffel: 1:30

Been having quite a bit of fun with the Furai. I've got it tuned down to 530pp and it's still winning for me.

Just started trying the Lexus LF-A, and it's quite capable at 515pp. Not near as nimble as the Furai, but still quite fast.

does anyone know how to get the best from the 2j race car in these events

I've been using the 2J for these & I've got the pp down to 527 & I'm doing well, GV is the best & your pretty much going to win by a fair margin. 1,756,346cr last time out. Happy days.

What is enough cars? Depending on what your goals are for the game.............I continually cash flow my $20 million balances to buy multiples of the rarest tradeable cars/colors in the UCD and OCD and I buy the 2J everytime it comes around (although it's not really that rare), I have Qty (9) - Chapparal 2J's, Qty (6-10) each of R89C's, R92C's, R8's, R8 LMP's, 905's, Veyron's, 787B's, Sauber's, Pescalaro's, etc. I've got Qty (5) of my Peugeot 905's tuned and/or pre-geared for specific tracks because I am too lazy to change one 905 tune every time I go to a specific track. I think the game allows for 2000 cars in your garage in one account, and I'm at 1950. Beware, the PS3 hard disc slows down a bit when your surfing your garage as you approach 2000 cars.

You asked, so there you have it, cheers!

My lot doesn't show the 2J at all, at least that I've seen. I did the trick once to get 1 version of it but I've never seen it again. There were 2500 days until the next one when I checked on that trick. That's one that I would choose, of course. Your Peugeot is interesting. Haven't raced that but I will. And yes, I wanted a list of cars that others felt were worth having more than one of so this helped. I'm at 620 now but I've only been online since May (got the game on Xmas). Thanks! Anyone else?

As far as what to do with the money, I just blow it on any useless thing - pretty much any of the 20mil CR cars will do. I have the X2010 in every color (several examples of some), the Ferrari F1 cars in all colors/driver combos, several of the classic 20mil cars, etc. Clear the money out, then start again.

I'll grab anything in the used lot that I don't already have, but that's pretty rare these days. Last night I snagged a 2003 Accord Coupe, which I surprisingly didn't have one of already. What a useless car...

have you got a tuning guide for the 2j in this event?

No, not really, tweak the suspension by taking the camber out to 2.0 front 1.0 back that's pretty much it. I've found myself putting it into B-spec endurance races to try & get the pp down, just a fun car to drive, though the 3speed box takes a bit of getting used to. Have fun.

Same boat on both points. I'm reaching a point where I'm gonna just let it ride at 20 mil until some of my fav's show up at "Justin"s lot, lol. The Fural & GSX-R etc... several others.

have you got a tuning guide for the 2j in this event?

Check out the Indy time trial seasonal tune by Penelope. It works great at 600pp and would completely annihilate the AI in any tracks. 2j is not suited to track cutting and contact on kerbs will cause spin outs.
