620pp supercar festival

I found upping the damper compression and sway bars to 5 all the way around made the car handle a bit better on Indy; rear gear was reset to 4.300 and it worked well for both acceleration and had room to draft. Downtuned to 590PP (457hp) it won on the first attempt, going late on the brakes and leaving every corner like I had a nitrous bottle hidden somewhere was key to the race. I never race this track and know none of the braking points or lines, so I was in 3rd by the start of lap 3 10.8 seconds down. Then I went flying off trying to take the first corner too hot.👍 Racing conservatively I still shaved over 4 seconds off the leader with nothing to draft for all of lap 3. Crossing the line to start lap 5 was my Corvette in pole position, raced with one hand while texting on lap 5 and still won by over 5 seconds.:sly:

...and speaking of Burt Reynolds and Trans Am's, why has there never been one or a '70 1/2 Camaro Z-28???

thanks i've tried this first time finished in 4 place

You should remember one thing: There are cars you need to avoid as much as possible, the cars you might need to avoid are

Mclaren F1 '94 (THIS THING IS THE BOMB IT WILL JUST SMOKE YOU)
XJ220 ( this can be beaten easily not needed to skip this much)
Zonda C12s 7.3 (THIS CAR IS ANNOYING AT TIMES)
ZZII (I haven't seen this car much so yea i don't know what to say)
R390 Gt1 (This car is annoying but can be dealt with)
W12 Nardo Concept (This thing is just super fast and annoying)

Remember there should be only 2 of these cars in the room or you'll get smoked and if there's 1 of them then that's one lucky room

Now here are the cars you don't need to worry about as they are not that fast and you can catch up to them at around 2nd-3rd lap

TVR Cebera 12 Speed (this is easy to catch up to)
Zonda C12 (Slower version of C12s 7.3 easy at times)
Enzo Ferrari (now this car is tricky first off i'm not sure if i should put this in the fast ones or the ok ones because this car, sometimes it's easy sometimes it isn't when it is matched up with one of the fast ones as long as you can catch up to this car at 2nd lap your good to go but if it starts 1st you might need to think of leaving)
CIEN Concept (Sometimes hard to catch up but you can always catch up to this car)
SRT 10 Acr (Slow car doesn't even leave the pack)
Ford GT (Another slow car doesn't leave the pack either)

Now if it's too hard you can always go to 530PP but that will make the prize lower but still 1MIL+

Well hope this helps!

After reading through people's times here I have to say I feel like crap lol. I must suck at this game.

I beat the events with a stock McLaren F1, no tuning, just stock, and it was rather challenging. Took me a couple tries on each course. On Fuji I gave up and used a different car. But Eifel circut was easy.

Well here is some pics of 510 PP Mazda Furai

Here's the payout at 150%

Well yea it gets easy when you follow the guide

Had great fun in the Zonda R. Stock apart from suspension & tranny. Engine limiter to 100%, full ballast and 'some' downforce. Got the pp down to 560 - plows like a tank on steroids but still an easy 1.5million!

I tried to do this with a Furai and I can't get the Furai below 600pp without losing, am I doing something wrong?

All aids off except ABS1?
TVR Cerbera leading car list?
A good tune?
And for me, the best track is the last one - Eifel - once you've learned the braking zones and maxed out your apex speeds you should be winning at 600 pp. Hope this helps:tup:

Nonononono big NO i can do it 510 PP and cebera speed 12 is slow watch out for the cars on my list and go to Indy Road track cut corners and payout it 1,700,000+ at 150%

Very true:tup:, but i was just helping someone to get below 600pp.

BTW Just got the Zonda R down to 550pp for an easy 1.6 million at Eifel (without cutting;)) and with a lap in hand. Sadly, there aren't many pp's left to reduce to:ouch: 6% left and max balast. The next step is to start bringing down what's left of the aero!

hi!

i can't win the 2nd race, the ssr5. i tried with a sls and a superveloce but i can't get past 3rd. i think it may be possible with the SV, but its back slides too much. i'm not used to 4wd cars.

i can't cut the corners too well with the SLS.

i read like, all the the posts here, but i can't get anything from them. don't know if it my patience that's lacking already ahah

I think I'm in need of a "good tune" The car I'm using is pretty much bone stock with lower hp/higher ballast, any advice on tuning it?

I've won in my SLS. you can also win in the ZR1 so much torque(113kg) to pull out of the hairpins

I used an Audi Le Mans Quattro. You may occasionally need to change the front rear torque distribution but you can easily win all of the races with a properly tuned LM Quattro.

I used a fully modified RUF RGT. Its a bit of a challenge considering the RGT can only have 560pp, but tuned and driven right you can win each race. I was at 130% when I raced at Indy Road Course and turned out about 1,250,000 easy.

just won on indy with Audi Le Mans Quattro '03 on 563pp. got 1.2mil. can anyone reccommend a more efficient way, i.e. different track/car combo, of earning money?

i spent ages stuck in the same postion as you, tried lots of cars, then used a detuned Zonda and won easily.

The detuned Furai (505 PP is the lowest I can get it to, lower if you let the oil go black) does great in Eifel. Minimum downforce. Max Ballast. 50% HP with the limiter. You need to practice a bit, though.

7m30s, 2.3M with 200% bonus. You just have to re-roll to avoid the Mac F1.

I think 300hp is the lowest you can go before you start losing. Just did indy with the Mach 1, 470pp, 300hp and max ballast. Barely won by 2-3 seconds, followed by the xj220 and the zonda.

I did it. i got tired of my SLS's tune, so i put everything to its default value, and thought that i would work my way through the tune as i would see fit after several tries, but managed to do it with my "free of tunes" SLS :)

had some parts applied, ofc, but can't remember which exactly

Had a lot of fun with this one. Just gotta watch that f1, he can sneak up and bite you if you get to comfortable.

I've done the Furai @ 510pp which seems to be easy doable. So I'll see what 505pp will bring...
The only important detail is "your opponents"... 👍

EDIT:

Mazda Furai:
Max balast, minimum downforce, 50% power limiter.
504pp/254hp/864kg
2.316.032 CR @ 200% login bonus

It was the one that took me the longest as well, by far. Finally took it, and all the other tracks, with the Nardo.

Practice, practice, practice. It will get easier, you'll start to feel the track "flow" from one corner to the next; instead of just reacting to the turn you're in, you'll start setting up that corner for the one that comes after it, etc.

Keep at it, and it'll come to you.

I can't do any good in this. Been playing for the past 2 hours on the same track. :( Trying many different cars....I took the Bentley Speed 8 race car right down, it had 450hp, came second place with it, first still beating me by about 10 seconds. Damn that F1!

Anybody got a suggestion that would suit a newish driver with a controller? (I've tried the 599/GT Race car/G37 and a couple of others. No go)

Mazda Furai Concept should make easy work of everyone you're likely to run up against in this one. Borrow mine if you like; it's got a pretty stable setup on it.

I think I have it (well 3 actually) :D

Mind posting which tune you used?

Cheers :)

Gladly, once I get the TV and PS3 back from my wife... :)

Awesome. Thanks :)

Hope it does better than my ACR Viper. I managed to get 2nd place in every race.....I want to blow up that F1!

Every race it would beat me atleast 8 seconds. Sometimes even 10.

It must have awesome handling. I know it's no faster than my Viper, but I have to slow down considerably to do most of the corners. The last race was the best run, the F1 only ever beat me by 8 seconds there.

Furai setup at 620pp:

Aero 35F/60R (Once you get used to the handling, you can start lessening this, starting with lowering the downforce at the rear)

Ballast: 84Kg, position -50 (Gives 49F/51R weight distribution)

Engine: All stock, no mods, 79.5% power (418hp)

No ECU tuning, no engine mods, intake, exhaust (comes with titanium exhaust already), no turbo upgrades.

Transmission:
1st: 3.413
2nd: 2.313
3rd: 1.695
4th: 1.303
5th: 1.049
6th: 0.886
Final Gear: 5.000 (I like a higher final ratio to get out of corners more quickly, but some like to lower it to reduce wheelspin)
Top Speed: 186 (This was set up for Indy F1 Course)

Drivetrain: the usual mods - clutch, flywheel, LSD. I set the LSD at 7/28/14. Seemed to work pretty well.

Suspension: Fully Adjustable
Camber 1.4F/1.8R
Toe -0.11F/ +0.18R

Ride Height -5F/-5R
Spring Rate 12.5F/11.5R
Dampers (Ex) 7F/6R
Dampers (Comp) 7F/6R
Anti-Roll Bars 5F/4R

Brake Balance 9F/7R

Play with it a bit and tweak it so it works for your driving style; this one worked out great for me. I was running it down to 525pp and lower (50% power and full 200Kg ballast) and still able to win Indy with it. At 620pp it just dominated everything on all courses.
