Just a tip, you don't need mega HP to win this one. I did it in a 520pp 111R with Racing Softs. If you max out your straight line speed potential, you're hurting yourself in the corners due to rear end grip problems brought about by high powered cars.

Hi guys man I just won this and it took sometime. The car I used to win is the Peugeot 908 HDI Fad turn hp power down minds was 481hp, transmission setup - top speed 209mph bottom top speed 205, final gear 2.813, Suspension setup - Ride h -11/-4, Spring r - 14.3/15.3, Damper ex - 7/8, Damper comp - 7/8, Roll b - 4/6, Wheel a - 0.5/05, Toe A - 0.00/0.20, Driving options - racing soft tires, traction control 5 you can set to 1 but 5 work better for me, abs 1, transmission was set to AT. I pass the 3rd car on the 3rd lap 1/2 way. Pass the 1st car on the 4rd lap 1/2 way in a tunnel the 1st car is a 2J race car it's faster then the 908 but you can block him and beat him in the turns.

Don't crash if do you will not catch up to the 1st car..
I tried few other cars to, only to get 3rd and 2nd.
This is not a easy race. I hope this help other's.

I used an all stock Nissan GT-R R35 TC on racing hard tires and won on my third attempt, had a good fight.

Getting to 2nd is simple, but the lead car usually puts an 18 to 20 second gap on the rest of the field which is kind of lame. Then once you pass 1st, you pull a big gap on him. AI is still pretty lame in GT5.

I did the same as well. I used RS instead but still won by a good margin. Can def win on RH. I completed the 400pp Event in the Mini '11 with just a racing suspension mod only. I used a r32 GT-R fully tuned but tuned down to 500pp and won easy.

First time I used my Premium Macca F1 with about 630pp.
Then I used my Stealth GTR on 540 to see how low it would go. Won it, but I think I was lucky with the competition selection that time, as I tried later on 530 and was nowhere.

I had to really drive as the car only had about 452 HP.
But I din't have to work for the win.

I also did the race with the LMS (because it is a fun car to drive) and came second.
20 seconds after number one and 15 seconds before number 3.

I really hope that we get opponents that are closer to each other in the future.
This has been a problem since GT1

This was made on my second attempt... I lost on my 1st try... can't remember what I used for that one...

Won this using my personal favorite, '09 GT-R Spec V full tuned 834(?)hp/63XPP(?). Won by 5 sec. Forgot what tires I used, only tweaked the suspension a bit. Will try a better car later.

I used a GT-R Concept LM Race Car, with 50 Kg ballast and rear downforce lowered to 60. Those 7 gears sure do help.

i did this in my stealth gtr 500 on RM and had no problem beating it at all, just run a clean race and push it on the fast turns : /

My Mazda Furai has 680pp so that won't work and Chaparral 2J Race Car has 653pp so both cars won't qualify for the race.
