Bump. :dopey:

I have a question, do Racing Soft tires last for the whole 5 laps? I'm trying to beat this race with my tuned-down Mercedes CLK-LM equipped with Racing Medium Tires, I'm having trouble because the McLaren F1 GTR is just too fast and too fat away. :ouch::ouch:

I really want to win this event, I want a Gift Car Ticket :)

Easily last 5 laps

I used Lamborghini Aventador with 650 PP (fully tuned)... easy win... But you can also try with Pagani Zonda R!

Done this race with the CLK-LM + racing mediums. Its fine, and a winner too.

Remember you need to have decent driving skills too :-p

TIPS AND TRICKS

These cars is hard to make win:

- Ford GT '06

- Pagani Zonda LM Race Car

- McLaren MP4-12C '10

- Audi R10

Cars that is better and easier to win with:

- Nissan GT-2 R35 TC

This post is going to be changed.

Anyone noticed the tires wear down quicker in this event? I used the gt-r 35tc on the for seasonal dream car - grand valley and blitzed it. Tried a spec seasonal no1, only change I made to the car was to remove the turbo and my tires seem to get eaten!! Losing major lap time due to tyre wear and finishing 20 sec after 1st place.
Any ideas?

Just cracked it with the gtr35tc, R/S, max turbo, detuned, front springs softened and shortened gears. Do have to race the b*****ks of it though, very satisfying race. Helps to really know the circuit!
On to a-spec seasonal no2 madrid circuit gtr34tc same sorta setup, cracked it!! Oddly the gtr35tc was crap in it.
Do think the tyre wear is a bit inconsistant in the game. Lots of great advice in the forums, thanks all!!!!

Audi R8 Race Car (Audi PlayStation Team ORECA). Detuned of course. Too easy, but just enjoyed the drive; a great car on a great track.

Old thread I know...

but for anyone else that might be looking for suggestions...

I ran the Viper GTS-R Team Oreca #51

using AdrenaTune's build here: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?p=5567754#post5567754

I used the power limiter to drop it down to 650PP (80.5%)
Still holds up at 638HP.

First race: I pulled lead on at the tail end of Lap 4, and pushed a 3+ second lead for the finish. (can't remember the exact result, I'll watch replay after)

Second race: 3.509s lead....

Anyone with more driving skills than I have, would blow this away...
(using DS3, MT, ABS 1, and CSS @ 7. Everything else off.)

posting these against the McLaren F1 GTR Race Car `97
and Zonda LM Race Car

McLaren starts out w a roughly 14 second lead at the first marker.

After doing a ton of these seasonal events I have discovered that picking a car for the track is as important as anything. I tried a lot of race cars on Grand Valley and ended up using the gtr 35tc this however did not do the job on Madrid city I think it was (or some city track) the gtr 34tc however cleared it easily. Although since Iv had a 2J most of them are pretty easy, I did have it shared (and will again soon) if anyone wants to borrow fr me. The other approach is to come here to gtplanet, the community is great!

i just won in the XANAVI NISMO GTR '03
Leading car was corvette CS-R (C5) '00

I won by 24.773 seconds :D

I am having trouble with the Online A-spec Challenge Seasonal events. I managed to get first place in the 400pp and 500pp races but the best I can do for the last challenge which is 650pp is 3rd place. I used the Saleen S7 and the Vertigo Race Car '04 and I got 3rd place with both cars. If anyone please tell me which setup or car they used and thanks.

Until the F1 and FF seasonals came up, I was using these 650pp events to make cr. I've used the Zonda R, the Zonda LM, the Lexus Denso Sard, the Raybrig NSX, the Xanavi Nizmo Z, and more. They were all fairly equal on 650pp with, perhaps, the Zonda R leading the way with Praiano's tune. Actually, I put Praiano's tunes on most or all of them.

The BMW Mclaren F1 out front is the fastest lead AI. With enough track practice, it can be overcome regularly in all these cars though.

Edit: I forgot to add that the Camaro SS RM '10 and the YellowHat Tomica GT-R are also good.
