Forza 4 720p direct feed of the new 1 player mode i love : trackday. Here on Nürburgring Nordschleife ! :)

Enjoy.

I'm currently uploading TV Replay of same mode/track/car.

Does the Xbox have any motorcycle games? seems like they imported the hands animation from one of those motorcycle games... it looks nothing like holding a wheel...

Seems like the cars could have been programmed to have a little bit more etiquette, especially since its a track day and they are at cruising speeds. They could at least be made aware of your presence and scootch over a bit when they see you coming ;)

EDIT: then again I guess they are supposed to purposely get in the way...

Cool car... very nice damage model... the ring seems more accurate (width)... my only grip so far is the hands of the driver looking like he is driving a bike... but I usualy dont like cockpit views anyway...

I think it is good as it is, AI cars are quite predictable when you know the track, and that fortunate because it could turn ugly if they'd try to guess how you'll act while you're doing the same...

:nervous: no not yet... still trying to make up an excuse for the mrs - why do we need a new console - a new wheel and more games... after all before buying GT5 I told her I wouldnt spend any more money on racing games and gear... because I was getting the ONE that really mattered :ouch::banghead::dunce:

well if you sell your old stuff and swapped in new ones I guess she wouldn't notice? Worked for me for years. :sly:

@ Milouse could you record more Videos? Like La Sarthe with a Streetcar? :)
Would like to see the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG. The car was in GT5 a dissapointment for me...
So I'd like to see the FM4 Version.

Maybe later but i can't spend more time in the game (don't have time), and i doesn't have this car right now, nor such premade replay. Maybe if one is share online...

I've seen a few people mention OTT swaying trees, watching that replay (Not too bad, much better then FM3 replays!), it reminded me of Day of the triffids, some trees looked like they where in a Force 9 gale!!!

:D

Ouch lol

Must be the Hertz Budget Rental Car Challenge, all with shiny hubcaps.

But wow, that lighting, that track...just epic.

Sick videos, especially Hockenheim, ough the surroundings just look beautiful.

It would be pretty sick, if you could be able to use the headlights to flash the cars in front, so they could move aside.

Hmmm, doesn't sound familiar at all. ;)

I know she married me... but shes not that stupid...:dopey:
You know this is going to require some jewelry, day at a spa, flowers, or possibly all of those.

On-topic: very nice videos, really makes me want to get this.

I tend to disagree. In any racing environment from a HPDE to a multi-class race, the slower cars own the race line and the faster cars have the duty to find their way around them. The only gripe I'd have is entering a wide turn side by side (on the inside) and having the AI turn into you.

Not directed at anyone in particular, but I'm still impressed that the prevailing thought on AI behavior is that YOU own whatever line you're taking and the AI should be diving out of the way or off a race line they rightly occupy.

I couldn't be more agree with you, as i'm feeling a bit misanderstood when talking about AI with most of my friends, who don't tolerate an AI behaviour they would think as normal from a human being.

I've passed loads of cars in FM4 in this mode and i don't remember one, not even one incident where i haven't my fair share of responsability.

Cool videos, thanks for posting. The only thing keeping me from getting an X-Box and FM4 are all the other good games coming out now. Unless Spec II adds the career mode that should have been included with GT5 at release, I might still pick them up in the next few months.

The Ring looks "flatter" than it does in GT5. Is this more or less true to life?

From that video, it looks like the Ring is still smoother, flatter, and wider than reality. I'm not complaining, but that's my opinion from watching these videos.
