I'll be there
Hey guys, I'm off to see Senna tonight, i'll let you know what it's like đź‘Ť
Anyone know where to find North American screenings? Not had much success.
Cheers.
Enjoy the show Tom!
I have been looking, not much luck Ken, maybe watch it online? And thanks
i had some great practice last night as well with these random brits. They were fast and were pulling out sub 1.13 quali laps and I was able to hold my own.
My fastest quali lap is a 1:12.9 which I did out of the blue last week. I got to within .2s of it last night but was losing .5s in the first sector alone to the pole sitters (I was quicker for the rest of the lap) so I'm hoping I can figure out what I'm doing wrong in the sector and get into the mid 1:12's perhaps. That would be awesome.

Still hard to get the final chicane right every time though, don't think i'll ever be 100% happy with it.
Well Tom, you like?
Yes, Yes and Yes! One word...Amazing, seriously the best film I have ever seen, it's just immense, I don't want to spoil it for you so i'll leave you to experience the magic!
Tom sums it up perfectly. Very touching film as well I might add, gets rather sad
I agree, the drivers briefings are quite funny though!
Shame its not a true depiction of Senna though - anyone who wants to know why see my posts in the thread in the Motorsport forum (to avoid this going badly off topic).
I've yet to get near 1'12s at Montreal, my best laps in qualifying online have been 1'13s and thats a really good lap for me. The best I do straight out of the pits is a 1'14 I can do easily every time. Its finding the few tenths everywhere to nail the lap to get 1'13. I could see how a 1'12 is possible but I don't think I'll ever nail the consistencey required out of the final chicane to do it. I generally get good speed through there, but its never the same, sometimes I'll hit the kerbs too much and scrub speed bouncing about and sometimes I nail it and scrub speed on the exit with slight corrections or slides. When I do nail that chicane, I always do it either after a poor lap or on an out lap. Its always where I lose time I feel, I know what the best line is, I just can't seem to find a reliable turn-in point for it, as its difficult to spot the apex until you are directly on top of the kerbs.
If we get a wet race it will get pretty interesting.
Just finished another practice from Dark. He genuinely found some more time, whereas I just drove a bit harder. Boy is he fast through that final chicane, I really can't understand how people carry so much speed through there, it just shouldn't be possible!
Are you free tonight Ben?
Well it looks like I've missed out on a week of good practice with you guys, just got back from a week a Disneyland with the kids so I've not had any practice at all.what sort of times are you doing?
I'm gonna keep that card close to my chest
Hope you enjoyed your trip, Florida or Paris?
Can't sorry, going out tonight, my birthday tomorrow so might not even get another practice in before the race.
what time are you guys racing on sunday?
i'd love to join the pile if it's before i head to work
