Well because of this exchange thing, i'm not going to be in until 19:00 on Sunday, one hour after the race starts :grumpy: and i've had next-to no practice, literally 4-5 laps 🤬 but i'll try and get some on sunday after the race :)

Hey guys, because of this exchange trip thing, I am going up to London tomorrow which is 2 hours away from where I live and in a mini-bus that will take even longer :grumpy: I will be back at about 7pm hopefully but I haven't had any time to practice this week I am unsure if I can make it as I would like to record and watch the race and that will take me past 9pm :( But I will email or text shaggy (If I can get his number) with my final decision, I'm pretty gutted as I would love to race at Montreal, but we'll see what happens đź‘Ť
 
You should still race even without practice. That's what I do pretty much every weekend. It will be fun!

Having said that I did a 50% practice of Montreal yesterday with Shaggy and I sort of got to grips with the track. We'll see.

Montreal needs no practice! You either brake correctly and make the chicane or slam into the wall! Minimum time investment overall :D

You have it spot on by there Mike. Thats what I love about this track you just have to have the cahoonies to just fly into the chicanes and if you get it right it's great

Did you not need to send the faulty one back as part of getting the replacement? If you were able to sell it to me at a really good price then i'd be tempted to buy it off you. G27 wheel, talk to me!

Just to let you know guys, i'm not going to be able to watch Canadian GP before our race so i'll not be using my microphone in the lobby because I don't want to hear about the GP! I don't want to stop you all from talking about it if you want to so I'll just use the Xmb chat. Please everyone join this chat, for some reason some of you never bother to join it.

No I was really suprised that they didn't ask for the old one, I double checked with them and they didn't want it. So rather lucky there I was. I was thinking of ebaying it but yea I'll offer it to you if you fancy it. I'll message you now explaining exactly what I did to fix it. đź‘Ť
 
Watching this thread to see when we'll start. The race is wet enough they might stop it with a red flag for a while.

EDIT: race delay on cue.

Yeah, i'll text Shaggy to update him on the race. He doesn't want to know about results so I won't mention those but if we are seriously delayed because of this red flag then I'll have to let him know.

We're still 2 hours away from our race though, so I reckon we should be fine.

The two-hour countdown clock for the race window has been stopped.

So they could go racing in two hours from now and get some laps in before it becomes dusk.

We might wanna look at postponing the F1 2010 event.
 
No way we are getting tonights race done now, if the real race restarts, it will take much longer than an hour and its looking like it won't be restarted for another 30 minutes or even more!

Exactly...the race start was 13h00 local time, and if you think about it they could even restart at 17h00 if the light is okay. That would be 10pm GMT.

I'm another 2 hours west of the Montreal GP, so it's still early afternoon for me. What ever works best for everyone East of me is cool :)

Yup, I'm fine going way into 1am-2am time. So its perfectly good for me. đź‘Ť

I too want to race tonight but of course I am watching the real race too.
 
Heh, both are real, but one earns money and fame. :sly: Unless I'm being scammed money here!

I dunno, Kobayashi in 2nd is something I need to watch, even if I might win tonight, I think I would love Kobayashi winning more.

Race provisionally posponed until 2230 UK time.
 
just spoke with ben, he cant make it now if its that late. Doesnt suit me either b/c I need to be up at 530am tomorrow. Plus Dark and Tom cant make it so it makes sense to postpone until next wk.
