Am Sure Toyota will come armed to the teeth next year, 4 cars, and competent drivers.

Hope so.

Delta Wing Twitter feed confirms the car was unrepairable by Motoyama. Which is a shame after the effort he put in. Unfortunate result for the team :(

This is far worse than just sad, especially because we will never see it again at Le Mans.

Btw will Toyota race the rest of the season?

I think so. In fact, in order for Toyota to participate in the rest of the WEC, the point standings won't count with the two worst results of a team, a rule clearly instated to "forgive" Toyota for missing Sebring and Spa.

Their mechanics appear quick and their drivers smart.

If only you'd know how amateurish you made the Toyota crew sound like !

"Hey bud, can we borrow your staff? Ours is walking around with their heads in their asses".

"Fast" is relativ. And unless you are comparing the DW to the LMP1s, it can't be called slow by a long shot. Hell, if it wasn't for Nakajima, I could've imagined it besting Pescarolo, at least
Pescarolo was having problems even before the race with booth cars.

If it wasn't for the Delta Wing being there when Nakajima was tring to pass an Audi we will still have a 24h battle. Watch the video, just a slow ass making traffic to the the LMP1s in battle!

Nakajima could have been more cautious, but he was dealing with the Audi's there was no time to think about the troll car! Delta wing driver being slower should allow the Toyota passing easily. They were battling each other for top positions just get out the way!

So, just the 23 laps to make back for Toyota then. Come on! There's a good chance it'll happen! Make it happen!

Toyota is so unlucky, their car is so promising, and as I speak the remaining car is in 51st place I think and they are leaving the pits finally. I was hoping for at least a podium from them but it doesn't look like it will happen now. Maybe next year they can win!

I was gone for a couple hours, when I left they were still following safety car after #8 was crashed out by that idiot in the ferrari.

what happened to the #7 Toyota?

Hit Deltawing, putting Deltawing out.

23 laps behind, 15 hours to catch up. C'mon Toyota!

Stop trolling.

So much drama already, just woke up and have finished reading all the news and going through this and a couple other threads.

Don't give up on the race guys, and even though you say you don't care for a race where Audi runs away with it you're still watching :P

Plenty of action to be had still for sure.

The sound of the Corvettes is so good. It makes the Ferrari's sound like a screaming kid.

Bad news for 97 aston via Allans Simonsen.

Game over for us at LM. It started well and we got the car in the lead of our class.. On positive note I guess I get to sleep tonight.. ;)

Oh, that's it, you're a butthurst Toyota fanboy who can't get over Nakajima smashing the #7

Get over it, this is Le Mans, having slower cars on the track is part of it. If Nakajima can't deal with that well enough, it's not the Delta Wing's fault, it's his fault. And Toyota's for placing him inside their car. For all intends and purposes, they were within a fied of GT cars, so even if the Delta Wing didn't exsit to begin with, he might have very well taken himself out by smashing into a GT car.

Now, get over it. Blame Toyota for building a car that can't withstand such a collision, blame Nakajima for smashing into the DW, blame the ACO for not seperating GT and LMP cars before restarting the race, but this clearly isn't the Delta Wing's fault.
