QUICK VIEWER SURVEY! 💡

1) How long have you been up and awake?

2) Do you think you can stay awake for the remainder of the race?

3) How do you ensure you stay awake?

Kudos to all who have stayed up the whole race. :gtpflag:

1) I am awake from 7 AM yesterday. With 1 hour intervals of sleeping @2 AM and @6 AM.

2) Yes.

3) Like someone said, experience and will power.

Very interesting GTE PRO battle ruined by mechanical problem for #97. Hope it will claw its way up to victory in class.

Will be really interesting to see where Nissan finds 3 cars worth of factory drivers. When Toyota came they basically swooped up lose Peugeot drivers, and Porsche kind of had their own and added a couple pieces. Will be interesting to see who Nissan stirs up.

Nissan has plenty of drivers all over the world, I'd argue the most compared to those we see right now. They have guys in V8 supercars, guys in the U.S. that they could pull up who drive Tudor, RBR academy guys, and then the enduro guys along with the home Japanese racers.

Audi are the fastest cars on track consistently.

Only reliability can stop them now. Remember they've already had their own delays. 20mins for the #2, 12mins for the #1

Also Porsche have a minor issue with the #20 but they're managing it well.

Okay, going to the club last night was poor planning on my part, I confess that, but I think I'm gonna power nap for 30 minutes-an hour here just cus I actually have to do stuff tomorrow :(

I reckon they'll steal Heidfeld from Rebellion, and promote Jann Madenborough and Lucas Ordonez or Alex Brundle from P2. Maybe take a couple drivers from their Super GT, like Motoyama, Krumm or Oliviera. Then maybe try to poach a driver from one of the other P1 teams, and maybe a single seater star like Sam Bird. Not quite as impressive as the other lineups, but it could do the job.

Well I'm going to take a nap and watch the last few hours of this. Also watch the 73 vette, he's been keeping the Porsche in sight for some time now.

Sam Bird is good one. Quietly in the background I think Starworks is one of the most important sports car teams out there. Everyone they give a chance to makes it. They introduced a lot of people to Brandon Hartley a year ago and Sam Bird this year. I think Nissan is going to want some experienced drivers too, and I think Ryan Dalziel is the best experienced driver available.

And the Clarksonian art of thy hammer is put to work. Something is up with the 35.

Sam Bird before this would have been a good pick due to having a ton of open wheel experience and being a F1 test driver.

Judging by the lack of frantic panic, it appears to have been scheduled.
They are both ahead of the Rebellion as well.
Actually, I missed why that Rebellion is further back and why the other one went out. Can anyone fill me in?

Edit
And now they aren't. I can't keep up.

Ooh, good call on Dalziel. Another good one would be Olivier Pla, if they could get him away from Oak.
