Will be interesting to see what Porsche does for next year. I'm wondering if the 3rd car could be privateer... say Team Penske?

I think Penske is far too busy enjoying his NASCAR run with Ford Moneh and Indycar with Chevy moneh to do Le Mans. Of course if Porsche give him the monehs, maybe (and that's a very small maybe).

Just woken up: where's the #7 Toyota?????????? :(:(

Retired. Electrical issues.

QUICK VIEWER SURVEY! 💡

1) How long have you been up and awake?

2) Do you think you can stay awake for the remainder of the race?

3) How do you ensure you stay awake?

Kudos to all who have stayed up the whole race. :gtpflag:

1. Since two hours before morning warm up before the race.

2. I always do.

3. Experience and will power.

Could Patrick Dempsey move to the LMP1 Porsche?

On another story I am soooo glad there is British success in the LMP class with Mardenborough (sp?) and Alex Brundle joining Schuldinitsky (sp?) in the OAK Ligier LMP2.

If the third car is only for Le Mans...then perhaps but I doubt it. Also once again supposedly Nissan plan to bring 3 cars first year out.

Have any major accidents happened during the night? I was surprised how clean the night racing seemed.

Yes one major accident that saw part of the armco get rebuilt. However it was just one car involved.

That's 🤬! Ahh...

And the #8 is still around 9 laps behind... So GO PORSCHE! Someone beat Audi for once!

Its an Audi victory man. Mark Webber is way too slow to even give chase to the 1 car. Even if Porsche puts in their aces, its no use as that's a wounded car and its off pace to the Audis.

Ever heard of mechanical troubles? It's Le Mans, known for being completely unpredictable. Yesterday, you would've said it was Toyota's race, wouldn't you?

From what I've heard, none over the night.

Amazing how none of the LMP1's haven't had a clean run in this. Audi's have lost some laps, Toyota lost a car and loads of laps. Porsche had small issues which hit them big time, it's so unpredictable.

Heck I know but it could still be an Audi 1-2  with Webber going this slow but still a long way to go.

EDIT: Bernhard actually got in at the last stop.

Will be really interesting to see where Nissan finds 3 cars worth of factory drivers. When Toyota came they basically swooped up lose Peugeot drivers, and Porsche kind of had their own and added a couple pieces. Will be interesting to see who Nissan stirs up.

What's the gap between Bruni and Senna? Actually live timing saying Sinna is on the pit 1 lap behind (31 Bruni 32 Senna) What's going on?

EDIT now it's 2 laps behind??

It's in the garage. They're all working on something.

hsv

Nope. I'm the one that said not to write off the competition with 11 hours to go and look what happened.

5 hours is far too short for something drastic. The 20 may have a small chance, but time is running out.
