Hard to say. Could it be a backpack? I don't see how an animal that seemingly large could get on the track with armco everywhere.

To be fair they've gone a lot further than most people expected them to. I still stand by one car finishing, maybe two.

#23 in the garage now.

I agree, I expected them to be pretty much out by now. Nissan must be thinking "Why us?" right now!

Seems more like a tire, but no reports of missing tire or a 3 wheeling car. But if there is no reports in the next few minutes, I am going to go with wildlife on track.

Doubt it spectators aren't allowed along that section. So most likely an animal

He just said he was doing 330 ish kph so it wouldn't have to be that heavy to do a lot of damage.

Commentators on the official stream are a little behind the curve.

So are the commentators on Eurosport - they have been missing stuff all throughout the race. Like the Rebellion-Strakka clash at the end of the first hour; they never picked up on the Strakka's involvement.
