Buemi is adamantly insisting there is something wrong with the 8 car. The crew says they can't find anything on the date, Buemi insists they need to find it before it breaks.

Idk, I understand why they want Buemi to stay out there but if they don't get it fixed it is gonna break and they won't retrieve the car.

EDIT: You can hear the grinding on the 8 car onboard.

They still can't see anything on the telemetry data but they say they'll keep looking.

If I heard strange noises coming from the hybrid engine I'd start sweating blood too. :scared:

Yea, little worrying that nothing's showing on the telementary, but it doesn't seem to be affecting the #8's performance.

Also, the leading #31 in LMP2 has a drive through penalty.

Edit: penalty for overtaking in a slow zone.

Where are you guys seeing the smoke?

The noise on the 8 seems to be in corners and low speed, aka not when the hybrid system is empty.

What for?

EDIT:. Nm, overtaking in slow zone. Drive through.

Of the 66 and 67 Fords which is in better position?

Currently the #67 of Priaulx, as it's a fair way up the field from the chasing pack, and has occasionally been catching the leading #97 Aston.

The #66 is a tad out of sync, after an puncture earlier in the race, but it's still in a big fight the #64 (?) Corvette with their differentiating stint strategies.
