That can't be just a rotor issue, can it? Definitely the front rotors at least. How does the hybrid charge on the Toyota? Is it charged under breaking? Cus that would wear out the hybrid even if they fix the breaks.

Looking at the amount of smoke, it seems like a brake fluid leak.

The Ford Performance youtube channel only has the 66 and 67 onboard :(

Are there any other onboard feeds?

It has the #68 as, just the on-board camera is external, after the in car camera fell off it's mounts and had to be taken out, same thing happened with the #69, hence why that has no feed too.

From what I heard from finnish commentators, Toyota only gets power by braking, unlike Porsche that also uses a generator on the exhaust.

There was no tire on the rim or maybe a flat tire, and when the weight transferred to that side, he spun it.

Something broke in the left rear if that car. Possibly the tire from driving back to fast, but 66% chance that was mechanical.
Strange spin for somebody experienced like Milner, maybe he already had a tyre going down to cause the initial spin.

E - The one he hit the wall, not the silly pitlane one

It would ironical - and something of an indictment - if both Porsche and Toyota hybrids suffered failures from the hybrid drive system.

The left rear wheel came off when he hit the wall. That spin would've been the first time he turned that car to the right without that left rear wheel I think. I bet he didn't even know it was off. Unfortunate, cus Corvette could've fixed that pretty quick.

Windscreen now pulled off the 8 car looking in the cockpit. The braking temps had to be related to the hybrid. Some kind of major electric issue there.

If I was head of Toyota Gazoo I would tell them to turn everything down on the #9, make sure it makes it to the end trouble free and it could get a very good result.

So what happened exactly? He hit a wall and the wheel came off then spun out at pit entrance?

Anyone have a link to a good, up to date live feed?

Can't get the dutch feed to show up, even if it supposed to be free to everyone.

Also the few youtube feeds I tried weren't really up to speed.

After the hybrid issues we've had for both teams, I suppose this is even more of an advert to simplify/get rid of the hybrid aspect :sly::lol:.
